The tradition which was started by Tilak to unite people is now dividing people. People are competing to set up larger and larger idols. The same tradition is now creating dispute among people. People are no longer caring about environment.

Tilak awake national feelings of Indians by bringing back Shivaji and Ganapati festival that arouse our freedom struggle. In today's life we are not true to it by a) Only particular section of people celebrate it b) The idols made of plastic, while immersing it can't easily decayed. c) Celebrating manner of making noises and cause disturbance to surrounding. The condition has to change, this will come only when I and the community should participate in using bio degradable products.
