India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

Govt need to promote social science & ,agricultural science ,graduates of agricultural degree course and social science degree course need to actively participate and give consultation in development of agriculture in country being an agricultural country

Please stop doing campagins like this in mygov app. I can see that most of the comments in this post is more philosophical or tobe clear that's not what we can see in ground reality. I think science and technology should be tool which can help us in our lives. If that couldn't add just 1 more rupee to gdp and it couldn't save 1 more minute of common man what's this all mean??? I feel so stupid

Considering collapse of corporate like jet airway , reliance anil ambani ,dhfl ,punjab mahrashtra bank , yes bank , kingfisher airline , vijay mallaya , nirav modi , hdil ,videocon ,real estate developer chit fund shradha ,various eow case and offence registered on corporate ,exposure of adani at thousands of crore ,disputes in tata ,govt cant allow food ,being basic surviving item of citizen of india ,being majorly vegetarian country ,in hand of corporate ,either they will exploit or collapse

It is govt duty to protect citizens , thru provision of surviving items of food ,air , water ,electricity ,to all citizens of india , hence statement of some politician that its not govt duty to do business of food or trade food items is wrong ,govt need to be proactive in fullfilling basic needs of citizen including food and in control of such basic item and not just advisor , spending our tax money the way they want , or observer ,or just power lobby , or spend on defense only
