The most important thing for safety is clear visibility. Install high powered streetlights. This will ensure that even if the area is hostile there is enough visibility so that the people can see who is coming from where. Well lit up areas will also encourage people to roam around freely with confidence reducing the risk of children running off in hostile areas.

In order to ensure safe neighbourhood
1)parents should adopt a healthy communication link with the neighbors in order to know the A to Z of them.
2)parents should introduce their children to the Neighbour after they have safely assured that they are worthy to be connected with them or not.
3)parents should educate their children about the good and bad touch and should ask them to feel free to discuss about anything inappropriate or any misbehavior happening with them.

Apart from enshrined, long term provisions in our constitution like education and eradication of child labour to welfare and safeguard of children. Our insights should be focus on present tragic situations like sexual abuse, harrassment, molestation on children. Schemes are there to implement, but grassroots level execution should be monitored with dedicated professionals. Awareness for children like - "Good Touch and Bad Touch", Sanitation, Self-defence, Nutrition, Society and their rights.

The scheme and acts of Parliament cannot be successful without active participation of the citizens. Citizens participation will come once awareness campaign is carried out at various levels. The empowerment of the volunteers and protection of the victim should be ensured.
