The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) in collaboration with MyGov is organising this discussion to invite participants to share their journeys towards ...
To protect our planet from the growing threat of plastic pollution, it’s time we embrace the powerful message: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. By reducing our dependence on single-use plastics, reusing items whenever possible, and recycling responsibly, we can significantly cut down on plastic waste that ends up in our oceans, landfills, and communities. Every small action counts—carrying a reusable bag, choosing sustainable products, and sorting waste correctly can help create a cleaner, safer environment for all living beings. Together, we can beat plastic pollution and build a greener future.
Every one must carry a cloth bag to pick plastic remains enroute
Invention of Plastic is boon to society but having frequent use found to be harmful as it is found that its life is endless and cant mix with other element. It is not possible to eliminate at all but with logical thinking we may reduce its consumption. By segregating different types and the thickness and proper planning can reuse. The segregated plastics by hot pressing the plastics layer by layer to form a thick sheet may be ten or fifteen layers which can be use as cover. Similarly segregated plastics can be recycle by the same technic.
There should be collection centre and then segregating and processing to form sheet.

I would like to suggest for promoting through advertisements paper alternatives and other eco-friendly alternatives in place of plastic.
Fortunately except earth , rest of the Universe is mostly free from plastic
"Reduce what you throw, reuse what you can, recycle what you must – because the Earth deserves better than plastic."
"Plastic lasts forever. Will our planet?"
Start with Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. Save Earth.🌍
.
"Reduce, reuse, recycle" is a phrase emphasizing waste reduction strategies..
Here's a breakdown:
1. Reduce:
Minimize consumption: Avoid unnecessary purchases and opt for products with minimal packaging.
Choose durable goods: Select items designed for long-term use over disposable alternatives.
Conserve resources: Reduce energy and water consumption, which indirectly decreases waste generation.
Example: Buying in bulk to reduce packaging waste.
2. Reuse:
Extend product lifespan: Find ways to repurpose items instead of discarding them.
Embrace reusable alternatives: Use reusable shopping bags, water bottles, and coffee cups.
Repair and mend: Fix broken items instead of replacing them.
Example: Using old jars as storage containers.
3. Recycle:
Properly sort and dispose of waste: Follow local recycling guidelines to ensure materials are properly processed.
Recycle materials: Recycle items like paper, plastic, glass, and metal.
