The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) in collaboration with MyGov is organising this discussion to invite participants to share their journeys towards ...
let's work together for our nation
To reduce is to question our habits. Why take plastic bags when we can carry a cloth one? Why buy packaged water when we can carry our own bottle? Every time we refuse single-use plastic, we prevent waste before it is created. This simple “no” is not just a refusal—it’s a rebellion against a throwaway culture.
To reuse is to value things. Our ancestors reused almost everything, not out of compulsion but out of respect for resources. When we reuse a jar, a container, or a bag, we give plastic a longer life and reduce the need to create more. It’s sustainable living, and it’s smart living.
To recycle is to close the loop. It is not a perfect solution, but it’s an essential one. Recycling saves energy, reduces pollution, and keeps plastic out of landfills and oceans. But it only works when we segregate waste, follow rules, and support recycling industries.
Many believe individual efforts don’t matter. But imagine if every single person on Earth reused ,recycled .
Reuse is more economical than recycle
Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time. With millions of tons of plastic waste entering landfills and oceans every year, the planet is struggling to cope with the damage caused by this non-biodegradable material. However, we can all be part of the solution by adopting the simple yet powerful principle: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
1. Reduce: The First Step Towards a Cleaner Planet 2. Reuse: Giving Plastic a Second Life 3. Recycle: Transforming Waste into Resource.
Conclusion: A Call to Action
“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” is more than just a slogan — it’s a strategy for sustainable living. By embracing this principle, we take active steps toward beating plastic pollution. It requires responsibility, cooperation, and a shift in mindset from convenience to consciousness. Each action, no matter how small, contributes to a cleaner, greener Earth. Let us join hands to protect our planet — for ourselves and for future generations.
The government is very good in every situation, such as plastic ban in our country. because of plastic almost very much animals health problem and died also, such as cow, buffalo, etc. The Farmers are crying for their crops get more money but the government have many more opportunity to complete their all country work.the work of plastic ban is very beautiful work because of died of many animals. also the environment also get polluted due to plastic and the many more because of vehicles. also i said most most beautiful thing for our country. it should be fine who used the plastic, these is also good thing. Thus we celebrate national environment day evry year in our country. thise is also good thing. plastic is most dangerous for animals, it is not digest in the body. plastic also important for keeping things but because of plastic animals died. so, it is not good thing. so, thise is very good decision of our Indian government.

We need to implement policies regarding higher penalties on improper waste disposal.
