Why not create a mechanism by which we can prevent the plastic littering at source only.. we can educate and create awareness on problem from plastic bottles and create a mechanism through which we can ensure 100% recycling at source through public participation . This will not only make our city, forest and land free from plastic bottles but also save fuel by recycling.

To clean India we need to start somewhere & something, that's some where is plastic bottle and material. We all know that plastic has life cycle of 99+ years hence any plastic dump whether in forest, landfill not only destroy our environment but also our soil and forest. Plastic not originated from India but brought into it from outside and will continue for next decades till we will find alternatives for the same. Our use of plastic growing exponentially day by day and more than any industry

Sir,as 40% of the indian population gets water from ganga river it is very important to take some steps towards it but this can't be done unless people realise this and stop putting away all those things in it and the main reason of increased bacteria in the river is because of industrial wastes thrown in the river. The amount is so high that even bacterias, filtering won't be able to stop the poisonous chemicals.rules should be made against these industries such as heavy fine or be closed itslf

Dear Prime minister Shri Narendraji Modi, I am pretty much impressed with your initiatives on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and spreading the awareness globally for cleanliness and healthiness. All metro cities and small towns in india has small food carts run by an individuals in major bazaars. I would like to suggest that your gov should make it mandatory for each cart to have garbage bin. Garbage bin must be present in trains, buses, parks and public places and littering by people should be fined.

We can begin the Ganges Cruise, which can be implemented in PPP format. Public [government] : • make the Ganges navigable [NW # 1] • create berthing facilities along the river say from Haridwar to Patna via Allahabad, Varanasi • IWAI - nodal agency Private sector: • own and operate the cruise lines • marketing and publicity. I made a presentation "Cruise on Ganges: PPP format in an international conference hosted by Port Finance International in Mumbai in January 2011.

Ganga is our mother. After the implementation started , see other Ganga ( like Patal Ganga, Daman Ganga, Kaberi, Keleghai etc rivers...)as well .At the up stream of River Patal Ganga Some companies are discharging with out proper treatment in Khopoli ( Mulgaon area).. Very dangerous for people. Company starts ( boundary wall) from river water line , no space left.. How they got lisense I do not know.. Innovassynth Technologies uses cyanide compound with out any initimation to govt and local bodi

I recently visited Haridwar. I saw people washing clothes at Harkipaudi. I think very strict laws should be framed to stop things like this. Another problem that is not related to Ganga but is very important is neusins made by beggars.
