It is now said that Karnataka letting its untreated water in Cauvery. This water is used by many temples for religious activities like deity bathing etc along Cauvery in the downstream. Those who are doing the mischief should be made aware of this. That is, somehow we need to make the people responsible - caring others. NGOs and Religious organizations should speak on these to bring a harmonious growth.

Sir, Ganga the mother of all rivers is in danger today. A lot of money is being spend to clean it. Ganga can be protected only when it is made part of education. Research should be conducted on the life of ganga and its protection. We can not keep it clean only by political will, it needs a social will too. Social customs do not change over night. We need to make the waters of ganga the blood and sweat of all human beings in India. Education, Awareness and Social commitment can only protect Gang

I am from tamilnadu, pollution of rivers is happening in all the town near rivers. agriculture canals become drainage when land become houses. all major town in tamilnadu drain their drainage into rivers. So those living near sea shore have to drink drainage of upstream rivers.I request PM to urgently form a sewage treatment network for all population centres having a threshold population.otherwise drinking water will become poison.Urgency should be shown.Take central control of all rivers.

Government should make special arrangements for nirmalayas kundi .And we the citizens of India should make sure that we should dispose our nirmalayas in that kundi only with no polythene bags to be dumped. This way we can save our holy rivers. And there should be no factory outlet in the river as it destroys our biodiversity. Aartis and pujas should be continued but in a eco-friendly manner. Please help India to be a clean and safe place to live.
