Conventional education alone cannot meet the needs and aspiration of higher education. What proactive policies and strategies need to be devised and developed to encourage online education and overcome any implementation issues which are currently hindering its optimization? Also how can we strengthen ODL systems so as to ensure their quality and gain greater acceptability?

Open, distance & online programs can be very useful for some courses. Particularly, online courses provide ample opportunities and a lot of latest learning material at a very low cost.Evaluation process for open and distance learning courses is being questioned, so proper mechanism should be developed for making the entire process useful and doubtless. However, there is no substitute for human honesty and sincerity.

Distance and Online education should be promoted in more structured manner. This system needs to include more n more people to work and learn together. As per current policy--if a student ventures out to earn (territorial jurisdiction)--would need to discontinue studies. ade and People need to learn, upgrade and Reskill their knowledge to surge ahead in life. Earn and serve family and society.

The only way to provide education to all is Open and Distance Learning, which is only and the best way of education to the needy students to fulfill their dreams and education. Some students are unable to gain higher studies just because their financial conditions didn't allow them to study so. Open and Distance Learning provide a way to students that they continue their studies and do job side by side. They earn money and spend it on their studies and fulfill their dreams.

Please do Consider AMIE course under AICTE, so that we could move on for the better future, this is best course than other engineering community.we have most elegant and most eligible students than other universities, If somebody want a challenge we can beat them by knowledge and talent. If U r not going to make it regular and under AICTE,then it will be a disastrous end of engineering in India, especially for the poor with knowledge but not having a opportunity to go 4 a University.

AMIE should be recognized. It is the fundamental education rights of poor people to study according to their convenient method. In fact, AMIE is far better degree than regular B.Tech which can be passed by giving money. AMIE need approval from AICTE is like nursery class student checking the answer-script of PHD students. Earlier AMIE only used to approve degree equivalence and now you have withdrawn recognition from such a old and prestigious institute.Don't spoil the future of the poor people

Just now its 80% theory and 20% practicals....it should be vice versa....as its necessary to know the theory..... but in real life we have to perform...not just know...practical skills are more imp

ODL are not usefull if they gives only bookist knowledge without any prctical knowledge & experience. Thereis too much gap between thearotical knowledge and computerised practical environment. So must increase computer literacy. So modiji please start new "COMPUTER LITERACY DRIVE"which must be reach in every indian village. Create new infrastructure of information, service centers.
