Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Respected prime minister sir, My question is the rates of soyabean, tur. is at the lowest, why the rate is not increasing in order that the salarys of government employees increasing 10% every yaer but the this rates are still the same. There is no profit in this business but as we have to do it weather there is profit or not. Investment is rising and rising there is no signs of profit it would help farmers if these rates increases every year. Consider this comment as I am too a son of farmer.

Thank you sir, we don’t know the actuality of Land Acquisition Bill. But include a provision as percentage of share for farmers in profitable schemes (i.e. Industrial Hub, Power plants, Urban development etc.) on acquired land up to long life survive of generation, because mother land gives opportunity to survive all members of family generation to generation from vedic to today & onward; while compensation & one member service is temporary solution. Sir, I would like to suggest an imp link which I know will go a long way in changing the way people/farmers are looking at the Bill. Your government should call the farmers representative from the imp regions of India. You should look into their charter of demands. Start an immediate timebound communication process and come out with a timebound solution. That will create the missing link - "Trust" and then release the accepted demands in the media and then introduce the bill in the parliaments

my solutions to farmsector criss after visiting to 20+ countries and more than 700 villages in India is 1)stop blaming black marketers and middleman, because therent any who made millions. American farmers get only 12 cents out of every 1$ spent on food.USFDA Knows beforehand even before cropping season what crop is grown in how many acers and where, they also know how much is required for consumption where and when,In India we don'thave this information backbone, India farmers are left to die
