Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Sir, We should stop the present system of land distribution into ever smaller bits by ancestral kheti badi, which takes away the ability for mechanized farming. We should fix the minimum size of the land that can reduced to, any thing below should be unified into one tillable piece under cooperative supervision and cost of irrigation and farming should be shared equally among the shareholders. Thus every bit of cultivable land can be put to proper use and food production in nation can grow.

Land acquisition. More than law, no clear guidelines makes, arbitrary compensation favouring corporates by means is the main cause. Rehabilitation should be ready before handing over lands to corporates / project

It was reported that Air India needs cash equity of Rs30,000 crores in the next 6 years or about Rs5,000 crores per year from GOI. Air India keeps adding to the ill will of passengers because of late flights. It is best for GOI to get a strategic airlines investor to buy out at least 51% of Air India; no more cash injection into Air India by GOI. The Rs 5000 crores per annum saved should go to a relief payment of Rs5,000 per farmer family per annum affected by draught.[1 cr farmers]

Modiji, You have been known as a pro business PM. Its to time to see agriculture as an important industry . Agriculture should be in your important points of Make in India campaign. Already it is a huge part of our GDP. Technology should be provided to farmers to improve their efficiency and the government should enable citizens to invest in development of agriculture by various schemes. We should reduce middle man in agriculture to minimum. Government should protect our farmers.

Robert Vadra, manipulated the market by buying acres of land just before its value went up and then profiting from this. Why did our former de facto prime minister not stop him? And can she explain why MGNREGA created only dole and ditches, not assets and jobs? Dear Mr. PM, We the people of India want you to raise this in your Mann Ki Baat.
