Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Thanks you sir for sharing your views on Land acquisition bill. Sir I feel farmer and soilder both plays an important role in nation building. All the scheme and policy related to defence members implemented properly then why not for farmer's. We have separate ministry for defence(ministry of defence) under this various dept which look into all the matter related to defence, why we dont have such ministry for farmer's which completely dedicated to farmers only (ministry of farmers).

Next time when Mr. PM will do "Mann Ki Baat" with farmers, please raise the issue about politicians who are opposing the current land bill are the owners of huge tracts of lands distributed among their family members or are in benami acquisitions in the form of land, flats, bungalows. These same politician landlords are prohibiting to the bill in Rajya Sabha for their own vested interests only.

I heard that soil health card is launched in punjab. But no one in my village Bath (dist. Tarn Taran) knws how to get one.. or where to get it. Its just that we knew from PM's Mann ki baat that there is something called soil health card. Mr. MODI plz do something so that every kisan knows abt it and can benefit from it. it's a good scheme but it has to be implemented at the grassroots level. No babu is going to come to kisan to tll abt it n if kisan doesnt know where to go then its a BIG Fa

our national average land holding is less than 2.4 acers, there is no crop that a farmer can grow to meet his cost of livelihood , like food, electricity, education and healthcare etc . We are sure that our country is headed for a major food shortages , and high prices for products, I have talked to 900 farmer families, in three states , not one of the child is willing to take up farming. you don't get married or very difficult to find a girl if you are a farmer, all of them want go to city.

The only way government can stop false propaganda of opposition parties is by sending its own leader MPs and MLAs to their constituencies. Print out of Mann Ki baat and distribute it in villages. Congress which looted india for 50 years now talks about farmer and will do pad yatra. Government should be very careful.

If the land is brought back to Govt by a strong Preventiaon of land encroachment act then the govt will earn lakhs of crores from that land. Also land acquisition by private parties for industry or trade be allowed on payment of market rate negotiated btw sellers and buyers.Govt shouldnot intervene in that case.Govt has to acquire lands for public purposes infrastructure, social structures and communiy structures
