Heartiest congratulations for creating one more historic opportunity for the two nations to come closer. Why not you declare this day i.e. Jan 27th as an Indo-US Friendship day! Every year on this day, the leaders of India and US can jointly address the people of US and India. There can be people to people connections via multiple events in both the countries like on Jan 27th in India and July 4th in US. On this day, the students can celebrate and learn more about two great nations on earth!

My Government should talk to the countries for which we are providing on arrival Visa so that we Indians will also get the same facility while visiting those countries, i.e. USA, SEA Countries (Not all have on arrival facility on Indian passport) etc.

When India proving visa on arrival for other nationals including US, why cant US provide the same services when both nations has got very good relations? PM should work towards getting visa on arrival for indians when visiting other nations.

Visas fees are too much, this stops tourism and investment, the process for obtaining visas is too long and tedious with arrogant staff working at the visas office especially Birmingham

Birmingham embassy are terrible! The staff are rude and ignorant, they are power mad, they are very jobs worthy. They think everyone is uneducated, they show clear favouritism towards regulars such as agents, family and friends, the queues and waiting times are horrendous, the staff show no compassion or sympathy, something must be done about this office

I believe that Indian Culture should be propagated to everyone abroad especially the Indian values & Indian outlook to life. For that great personalities of India like Gandhiji,Swami Vivekananda, etc should be the role models..Firstly ,indian people should be taught these values so that our country can create more leaders like Swami Vivekanda, Gandhiji,Netaji,Sardar Patel etc.I believe that youth of India should be educated about indian values as many of them are blindly following Western culture

Dear FM, while living in Japan and consulting Japanese Cos (JCos) I observed one concern of JCos attention to which can help in increasing Japanese investment. Many JCos form JV with Indian Cos with a condition that if JV fails to achieve expected results, the Indian party will allow JCo to exit at a predetermined price. Generally this happens when the JV incur losses or less profitable. Current FEMA rules do not allow exit at value lower than FMV. This is unfair and need changes in FEMA rules.

Dear Modiji, I am in India (Chennai) right now and I saw the news on TV of the facebook comment of a Tamil writer of a controversial book "Madhorubagan" (One part woman) that said that he is dead as a writer and will never write again. It seems that some fringe elements have taken objection to his criticism of some aspects of hindu culture. Some places have vandalized cinema halls showing the movie PK. Is India as a nation heading towards an era of religious bigotry and obscurantism?

Dear Modiji, This is to bring to notice of the government that at Chennai / Ennore Ports - Immigration/Customs do not work from 1800 to 0800, which makes even Indian officers /crew (foreigners of course) to join or sign off from ships. Chennai being one of major port in India should have this facility 24 hours like any other port in the world. Please consider the issue as we face much inconvenience for our ships. GM at Japanese company whose ships call these ports very often. Kind Regards
