Medical tourism or health tourism increasing popularity of medical travel include the high cost of health care, long wait times for certain procedures, the ease and affordability of international travel, Many surgery procedures performed in medical tourism destinations cost a fraction of the price they do in the First World. For example a liver transplant that costs $300,000 USD in America costs about $91,000 USD in Taiwan. An estimated 750,000 Americans went abroad for health care in 2007.

The way Prime Minister, Mr Modi has done a laudable job giving India's "YOGA" its due World Status for health conscious global citizens, similarly India 's contribution of "zero" to the world should be duly recognised by incorporating "Year 0" in the Common Era(CE) calendar that is presently in use by the world. The Gregorian calendar do not have the concept of Year 0... That will be a fitting tribute to the significance of "zero" or "Shunya" in Sanskrit of this 5k yr old Vedic Civilisation !

Our Indian passport is still in old versions, India has some much of technical talents we have not upgraded the passport to have electronic chip embedded passports like other developed countries. By having such electronic passports will help domestic air travelers help themselves where they can scan their passports at auto check-in gates at the air ports rather wait in the long Q.
