Indians all over the world would love to see India grow in all areas- better health, education, public amenities and infrastructure underpinned by ecologically sustainable development. Indian High Commissions/Embassies and Consulates and their websites are in reality the 'Front Office' of India abroad. Sadly, these websites are dated and not kept current while populated with redundant and useless information. It is time our foreign service Public Servants wake up and keep their websites current

I am a Venture Capitalist in the Silicon Valley and an Indian Citizen. We should have a forum in India where Indian entrepreneurs can mingle with top tier VCs and successful entrepreneurs from the valley. No such forum exists as of now in my knowledge. Happy to participate and shepherd efforts in the valley. Thanks!

Corruption at all levels which is endemic in India and is a root cause of lack of growth. Like AAP did, phones numbers should be established for reporting on corruption and both the parties, giver as well the taker, must be investigated. BJP must take a leaf from AAP's book on this issue.

In his Madison Square Garden speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that the 21st century can belong to India as it has three assets that no other country does: democracy, demographic dividend and demand. Undisputedly, these are invaluable assets. But Modi must realise that these are eclipsed by a unique combination of three crippling liabilities that only India has: excessive rules and regulations, egregious levels of corruption, and an embarrassingly hostile and irrational tax system.

Sir, I recently visited India, and landed on Delhi airport. I encountered with bunch of custom officers who were asking for checking bags for drugs test. they asked me where I am coming from and as soon as I told them "from Sydney", they told me scan my bag again and what concerned me was their way of saying and behavior.I want them to behave with respect at least. Indians are being more respected overseas than in India, that's what I want to say in this post based on my experience.

I suggest that all Indian Embassies the world over organise an India Tourism week every 6 months. The embassies should be proactive in this. There should be aggressive marketing of Indian tourist destinations all over the world. Our strengths should be emphasised. Our culture, ayurveda,, culinary traditions ,handicrafts,,textiles, jewelry should be marketed. The embassies should interact regularly with foreigners . .The press should not sell our poverty in other nations for earning brownie points

30+ years of mal-governance and mis-rule under Leftists had reduced West Bengal to a nearly failed state. The downslide contd and even gained momentum off late under the new regime rendering the state stooping down to become a breeding ground for all terrorist organisations active in the sub-continent. People who desperately wanted change from the Lefts are now disappointed dangerously to the limit. With you, PM Sir, that ray of hope has now trickled inside WB people's minds. Save East / N-E, pl
