We are living in a dynamic knowledge based society. Newer technologies and challenges are seeing the birth of new areas of study. Our higher education institutions must identify the new domains of knowledge in the global scenario and build up their capacities to meet this need. How can we retain our soft power in the global comity of nations?

In addition to books, please invest and create videos for each subject in every class. There should be at least two videos for each subject which should visually cover the whole syllabus and can be hosted in Youtube. All the schools should mandatorily play these videos to school children and exam questions can come from these videos as well. Students can also access these videos at home. This way it would be easier to understand and remember concepts in visual learning when compared to reading.
