The Municipal Corporation Tirupati is pleased to inform you that our city has been selected under Round 2 for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). Round 2 of smart cities challenge is been provided to 54 cities to upgrade their proposals whose city is not covered in the list of 20. Tirupati is one of them! In this phase, our city has to compete with 54 other cities, enhance our proposal and become eligible for funding in 2016-17.

The city needs to refine its vision, strategic focus, mission and a proposal based upon Gap assessment and suggestions received from panel of expert and MoUD. We urge you to share your ideas and be an integral part of the journey towards making Tirupati a smart city! Read the Draft Smart City Proposal

The uphill pathway pedestrian routes' Roofs were designed by CSIR-SERC scientists 2 decades ago. It would be a large roof area meandering from the foot of the hill to the top temple of Sri Balajee. Potential for installation of Solar panels and small wind mills to provide lighting and ventilation along with security Dr.Goms

1.Tirupati is an pilgrimage place therefore its vision should be public oriented. 2.There is need to make effort towards protection of every tourist,travellers to Tirupati mandir. 3.There is need to make the way as easy as possible so person of any age can travel easily. 4.There is need to make toilets at frequent steps to make the pilgrimage place clean from dirtyness. 5.Government should appoint their agents,intermediaries who provides various facility to tourist at very cheap rate.

A clean city is the gateway of a smart city. The main problem in every city is water disposal during the rainy season. Construction of small underground chambers with micro tunnels can reduce this problem. A clean city is the gateway of a smart city.

Hamare desh ke kisaano ke loan maaf hone chahiye aur agriculture me use hone wali nayi nayi technology ke baare me awareness jagana chahiye ,warna ek din aisa aayega ki hamare pas khaane ko paise honge lekin anaaj nahi

Tirupati is Spiritual / religios place and of at most important to us as Indians. These Places should be - Garbage free, very clean model towns. When Pilgrims go back should talk on these - Zero tolerance to overcharging, any illegal activities - Engaging best possible service providers in identified areas to provide world class service also generates local employment - Avoiding too much commercialisation

> Rope way to Tirumala > e-autos in city instead of diesel share autos > recycled sewage water for devlopment of gardens > segregation of bio waste should be made compulsory by TMC ( Atleast for hotels) > complete ban on plastic covers > move all residential colleges out off Tirupati( may be to Renigunta ) > local train from Renigunta to Tirupathi and change all the trains whose last destination Tirupathi to Renigunta > make all street lights LED with Solar powered

World devotional hub for human community , need to enhance existed system with world class technology, to create a place for peace and prosperity. like god heaven to be crated in hills ( Meditation , yoga, and peace hub). Where real god lives, the sam atmosphere should be created on hills . To control pollution and balanceecological atmosphere. 1. World no one peace hospitality 2. world no one yoga and meditation centre 3. world no one Hindu dharma research center 4. World no one ayurveda
