Online authentication using Aadhaar, which is already being offered as an authentication mechanism by UIDAI, can be made seamless if mobile numbers of individuals are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. This would do away with users providing Aadhaar number for every transaction as their mobile numbers would represent their Aadhaar number.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on the Concept Paper on how mobile phones and Aadhaar could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities.

The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, Use Cases, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, etc.

The last date for submission of your comments is 12th February, 2015.

The post office certificates such as National Savings Certificate(NSC) and all should be linked with mobile number internally while issuing. This will make the verification process simple if the original owner of those certificates losses the certificates by mistake. If someone lost these savings certificates,to reissue the certificate the owner's identity could be checked easily by India post by sending verification message to the owner directly. This could be used while giving back the money too

sir, I think the idea of mobile as digital identity is appreciable. but some drawback also in it.because when we talking about unique identity then it is require that each person should have their unique mobile number. but in India, each member of some family does not have their unique mobile number. so how that members of family can get the service of it. i think we can remove this drawback by adopting digital identity according to family.

i think we can remove this drawback by adopting digital identity according to family.where we can registered two mobile numbers. in which first one is of "CHIEFTAIN"as a primary number(it will be must) and other one of that member of family (if he/she have) as a secondary mobile number.where CHIEFTAIN can access all the service of their family members by using primary number. and secondary number can be used if any member want to access only their service.

pepole thinks that if there is a girl in home they have to take more responsibilities of her like marriage, security and work load on her. So firstly we need to aware people that every child has equal rights which encourage people to give a good and mendatory education right to girls.
