In spite of providing facility for free immunization to the pregnant mothers, only 32.4% of ST mothers (lowest among all social groups) received advice about where to go if they experienced pregnancy complications.
1) What could be the reasons attributing to it?
2) What interventions would be required to achieve 100% coverage of immunisation of pregnant mothers amongst tribals?
3) What can be the role of various Ministries, agencies (of Government and Non-government) to achieve 100% coverage of immunisation.

We solicit some sharing of experiences and suggestions on the subject.

More details on the subject can be found here.

in my opinion for MCH , the program like RCH, janani suraksha yojana, etc. Are enough for this matter. There is only need to improvement in Management, Motility, motivation,Trained man force, material, money, and infrastructure.

I had been to command (Army)hospital which is a free gov hospital 80% of the public were Muslim already having 2 or 3 child's still for birth of next.So I think free service should only be available for first child and for all castes.

Instead of getting the health department to deliver service, draft social workers, medical school students and interns into greater awareness among the tribals

What i thought govt should hire some people for this mission.they should visit tribal villages and aware people for the same e.g like polio mission authorities visit every house and i think everyone is now aware of its importance.

Every doctor and every news paper says that mother milk is good for babies health and continue the feeding atleast for first 6 months from the birth so that the kids can be saved from being attacked by various kind of diseases and also to increase their IQ levels. But, why the government cannot make a mandatory maternity leave for 6 months. Does that mean that women should stop working if they want their kid to get the best out of the mother milk or they just need to continue by sacrificing.

मेरे विचार से जबतक गाँवों में जागरूकता नहीं फैलती इसका समाधान कठिन हो सकता है।
