In order to meet the challenges of tourism promotion and compete with the developed countries like Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Sweden, America, China, Japan etc., India must consult and adopt successful policies and strategies of such developed countries in view of Indian Tourism Promotion.

in India, but helped to promote corruption, exploitation and breach of rules and regulations in this industry leading to present chaotic situations in the Tourism Industry of our country. At the same time, India is at present no more one of the Priority Destinations in the eye of international travelers.

For instance, in the pretext of Tourism Promotion the Travel Agents and Tour Operators of India have always been looking for suggesting new Guide Training Courses to generate thousands of guides without assessing the actual need of guides in the existing situation of Tourist- Inflow in India. Such faulty policies of Tourism Promotion adopted by the Ministry in consultation with these private companies have pushed Indian Tourism out of its track. They did not serve the cause of Tourism Promotion

In the absence of an effective Constitutional Tourism Law, the Corporate and Private Sections of Tourism and Travel Industry like Travel Agents and Tour Operators of India have since been misusing and misguiding the higher Officials of Tourism Department to fulfill only their own vested interests, while ignoring the national interest of Tourism Promotion.

Suggestions for Tourism Policy 2015 The Tourism Industry is number one Foreign Currency earner of our country. It has vast potentiality for economic growth of India. Though a separate Ministry is functioning since the last several decades, there is no clear -cut and effective Tourism Law as per constitution of India. So, this important sector for growth of Indian Economy could not achieve its desired goal and still the share of India in respect of Foreign Tourist Influx is dismal.

Hi, To attract more forigen income it is important to show an attractive clean India to those visiting the country. Hampi is a world heritage site located in Hospet ,Karnataka. It attracts good number of foreigners all through the year. To go to Hampi travellers must halt\ pass by Hospet. The conditions in Hospet is ugly, giving bad picture of India. Is this how we are propagating tourism?? Pls refer to the sample pictures of Hospet.

I recently visited Kashi, loved it and described it in my first ever Hindi poem in life. Perhaps my mygov friends would like to read it. Wish Mr. Modi reads it too:)

Steps must be taken to encourage people of other states in India,to visit north eastern states in large numbers. Also the provision of INNERLINE PERMIT must be abolished to achieve this.

Any amount of infrastructure, you provide, the police always blame infrastructure for their unmentionably pathetic failures. Delhi police has the richest Royal infrastructure, palaces every corner as stations,Innovas for HCs,but their performance goes reverse. More facilities, more enjoyment NOT TO EVEN THINK OF WORK. Before 1860 there was no joke called police force. People took care of themselves. Please abolish police force and save money and avoid heartburn frustration and chating.TOTAL HOPELESS

Police must be given mock drills of real life-like situations and their reaction and dedication be watched and progressively upgraded. Otherwise they end up as clownish white elephants, just for polishing boots of seniors. There must be compulsory military training for two years ,every 10 years of their service. Home Minister must actually visit police stations and related sites, supervise drills and operations. Otherwise police can be wound up,abolished and forgotten. Saves lot of money
