A hillstation with such heavy rainfall should never have problems of water shortage. However, Kohima suffers from acute water shortage during Winters. Invest a good amount of the fund in rain water harvesting which can be used through effective metering and giving it to all households during Winter seasons.

Control Pollution by Buses: Decommission all old buses by defining an age for phasing out buses which are a pollution hazard and provide loans alongwith subsidy to old bus owners to buy new fresh ones.

Make Kohima the mountain biking capital of India - I ride to office by cycle(Mountain Bike) often and reach there easily thereby spending no money, burning fats instead of fuel and contribute to a green environment. Encourage people through subsidies to ride cycles and walk more often instead of taking out their cars. Declare at least once a day as a public transport, cycling and walking day.

Make Kohima the capital of street art and culture - A lot of talent lies in abundance from musicians to artists to dancers and even freerunners. Allow these young talents free public spaces for them to unleash their creativity.

Make Kohima Dust free - Ensure dustfree roads. All you need to do is cover end to end leaving no space for mud and dust. Dust pollution is becoming a serious concern in Kohima. The City will look totally fresh and clean, including the cars and even our shoes!

Demolish old offices and also immediately relocate all govt staff to new secretariat area so that old british heritage buildings can be converted into very cool hotels, businesses like the Heritage through PPP.
