To have a liveable Smart City Plan for Kohima, every Stakeholder and Citizen of Kohima is now invited to contribute valuable ideas towards the building of Kohima Smart City. Our Smart City Proposal is to compete with the rest of the 100 cities of the nation to be developed under the Smart City Mission. In this second phase of Inter-State Competitions, let us jointly contribute and triumph together to live a decent life in harmony.

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Kohima – a liveable Smart City.

1. Include Bicycle Lane for green and healthy living. 2. Include small air stripe for microlight plane and airship in the new township development. 3. Pulebadze peak can provide Internet connectivity to the whole Kohima city using mobile technology powered by solar/wind power if Google Loon project with 100 watt solar panel flying 20 KM above the earth can provide 40 Km diameter area coverage of Internet connectivity using wireless communications technology called LTE or 4G.

1. Keep Kohima Town clean. 2. Reduce environmental pollution. 3. Make proper drainage system 4. Proper medical facilities. 5. Efficient Electricity and Water supply.

1.Proper Water Management and Supply. 2.Widening of existing roads and make it Durable. 3.Construction of a Major Circular/Ring road around the city for better Traffic Management. 4.Installation of Road dividers wherever applicable to avoid Double Parking and Traffic jams. 5.Proper Drianage System for smooth flow of water during Monsoon. 6.Proper Waste Management and Sanitation in every corner of Kohima. 7.Installation of Street Lights and CCTV on Major Intersections of every Colony.

1)Setting up of CCTV around Kohima can reduce destruction of public property by drunkards at night. 2)Placing wastebins in the side of the foothpaths. 3)A multistorey parking place in maintown to solve the huge parking issue in maintown. 4)Proper drainage system. 5)Traffic lights and proper croosroads.

1.Traffic signals in the roads 2.Proper footpaths 3.Better and proper roads 4.Proper water supply 5.Regular supply of electricity 6.Littering and dumping of garbages near the streets or in the streets should be prohibited 7.Public places should be properly maintained and kept clean
