7.Incentives should be provided to those who conserve water and electricity and maintain cleanliness of their surroundings.
8.Backdoor appointments in administrative government jobs can be countered by conducting computerized tests. Automated computer systems should set questions, evaluate and compute results without human intervention. Personality assessment tests can be conducted to select only honest, hardworking candidates.

4.Municipal bodies should strictly enforce cleanliness and penalize littering .
5.Proper water supply through construction of water treatment plants and multiple water reservoirs. Water should be supplied to all households through underground pipe networks. Messy overground pipes should be removed.
6.All the open drainage should be converted into underground drainage. Properly designed underground drainage system should be constructed throughout the town.

1.Durable roads should be constructed which can withstand monsoon rains and heavy traffic. Road maintenance should be done on a yearly basis. Concrete roads should replace the present asphalt roads.
2.Parking problems can be remedied by underground parking areas. Large commercial complexes should also construct underground parking areas.
3.Large garbage bins should be provided at designated places around Kohima. Garbage disposal trucks should ply to these designated spots on a daily basis.
