Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. Kalyan station area is fully crowded area and no space to travel in vehicle as well as by walking,it should be develop.in that particular area there should be one bridge as compare to thane,and parking is main issue in kalyan city.

please develop dombivli railway station. aLso keep in mimd to provide all modern aminities like escalators.i also requeat the authorities to do al work in synchronization with the railways because to always leads to some very bad looking structure not matching each other if u look at kalyan-dombivli stations u will find that the sky walks give a fell of some developed region but if u look at the station then the age old railway bridges with those blue metal roof makes the entire structure ugly
