Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. स्टेशन परिसरातील वाहतूक कोंडी कमी करण्यासाठी रिक्शा युनियन बरोबर चर्चा करुन वाहतुक कोंडी सोडवावी. सार्वजनिक स्वच्छता,डंपिग ग्राऊंड कचरा प्रश्न निकालात काढावा .

1.There should be improvement in basic amenities in industrial areas, development of multi-specialty hospitals and better use of CCTV cameras for vigilance. 2.Proper parking needs at kalyan station area .Roads need cleaning round the clock. 3.Tree Plantation, Pollution free city, cleanness of Market area, Playing Ground for children 4.Public Information system One website, app and call centre 5.Development for Theme based Park and garden for Tourism boost
