Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. We hereby request you to provide us your valuable insights and suggestions on the proposal.

The employees of class IV ie safai kamgars to be taken on contract basis for proper cleaning as the permanent staff who are there never do the work properly and never be present on site , thus the garbages are not picked up properly, and cleanliness is not maintained.Due to which there is spread of epidemic in our area.

The drainage line to be cleaned and especially the open gutters to be closed so that the breeding of the mosquitoes can be controlled. The road to be properly maintained ,be it a concrete roads or asphalt roads, it should be properly fanned so that there is clear view of the vehicles and the people at large driving etc., both the sides gutters to be maintained ,and the staff to be properly trained how to behave with the public at large.

The KDMC head quarters to be properly maintained, all the building to be well maintained as there are too much of leakages of pipe lines and drainage lines, and garbage's dumped in the premises of the office , proper street lights to be maintained, and street dogs to be controlled and the mosquitoes breeding to be controlled by spraying pesticides and picking the garbages by Ganta Gadi from the societies at least in fortnight. The funds to be properly used for the purpose it is meant

Our City Should be Clean and Neat Every time is the best for Every citizen who live in Kalyan Dombivali Municipal corporation And Also the Street will be large and full length so every one Should reach at his destination. So there is no traffic in our city is very useful to every person. so then our smart city should be well land and infrastructure in every filed.

First and foremost i would say that the garbage on every corner of the road to be cleaned daily, especially the main roads leading to the city. The roads to be made with side gutter ,the hospitals to be properly maintained so that the poorest of the poor can take the facilities that are available.The main thing is that the premises of KDMC to be kept properly maintained and cleaned from every corner of the building as there are lot of old furniture's and things not in use are dumped in the offic

Tree plantation should be increased. Garbage should be picked up on daily basis and decomposition of garbages should be done properly rather than burning it up. Free WiFi connectivity should b made available in the city.

Kalyan east railway station bridge connecting to Siddharthnagar should be build at earliest. Nalas should be cleaned properly.
