Inviting Suggestions for Smart City Karimnagar
Start Date :
Sep 02, 2016
Last Date :
Dec 01, 2016
00:00 AM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
Karimnagar city in the state of Telangana has been selected by Government of India (GoI) to participate and prepare a Smart City Proposal (SCP) under the flagship programme - Smart ...
I think transparency in development activities is important. it is good to see today that karimnagar.nic.in is under construction with in a week of new collector appointment. I think the website should provide more info about karimnagar district which makes more people visit the website. Info like Gangula Kamalakar adopted which village as part of grama jyothi, and few contacts like anti corruption number, food items adultration, RDO Complaints number 08782262266 should be available on website.
Karimnagar is heart of telangana
So first adopt a big statute of telanganatalli on lmd
Next we will start bridge on lmd from city to mailaram gutta
Because it is become tourism spot
Should be start it companies ,medical college ,parks, function halls
and a big park same as brudavanam at out side of lmd
Sir, Pls develop good governence , controll correption all stages, illigal lay out not encourage, conduct many public awerness programmes about sanitetion.
Pl provide parking zones and devolopep internal parks, marking all master plan roads, devolop under ground cable system.
Another thing can be as if we see, there is no such city encouraging solar roof tops which is an element of an smart city which i personally believe by forming an policy which can encourage the city to have solar roof tops it will even reduce the burden on the state power distribution companies and it can even give the city an very big chance in going and moving ahead the smart city race, but the policy can should be concentrating on existing buildings and new Constructions via subsidised prices
In the first place try getting all the road repairs done, which is the basic element for the city transport as we are one of those district head quarters with out railway importance but we give out the Telangana Rtc the most revenue collecting city only due to lack of railway, if the roads are well maintained it can be the best part form the MCK side and that will help in generation of More revenue in the public transport in the sense of using Junurum busses
First step is make a healthier environment to public. Pigs are more in all colonies so an intiation should be taken to solve the problem. if we this is happened so we can go ahead for making the smart city.
The existing laws. But alas that would take away the chutbhaiya netagiri of MLA and below. BJP Mlas may not like implementation of laws. Ultimately we will have smart city only if municipal and building laws are implemented or is there a smarter way?
To make any city smart the following may b done
1) Implent the building laws and bye laws.
2) Building bye laws should provide for designs where there is less need of daily helpers and sweepers.
3)Facility for community washerman and cleaners should b made mandatory in basement of all colonies.
4) Police Commissionerate system with accountable policing.(accountable to law)
5) Stopping of crime , stopping traffic violation etc.
Really my experience is that what we need to do is implement
Transparency, let's take a corporate company. In that work will be completed on time.Because everything will be tracked down on daily basis and it is the responsibility of the employee to send a daily status report to his manager.Maintain a site to track what's going on in each ward.Every single programme started by the municipality and every single rupee spent by it. So that we can complete the work on time and can avoid the wastage of money.
