To address the growing concerns in the present Accreditation and Ranking systems of the Government of India had constituted a High-Level Committee. This Committee considered the introduction of strategic reforms consistent with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the need for adopting a simple, trust-based, objective and rationalized system for approval, accreditation and ranking of Higher Educational Institutions with a verifiable and secured centralised database through technology-driven modern systems. Methodologies for facilitating Ease of Doing Business for the stakeholders, duly facilitating students in making more informed choices for selection of institutions/ programmes were also considered by the Committee.

After a series of deliberations, a High-Level Committee has submitted its draft Report on ‘Transformative Reforms for Strengthening Periodic Assessment and Accreditation of All Higher Educational Institutions in India’ to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In light of this, MyGov, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, seeks feedback and suggestions from all the stakeholders for the finalisation of the report.

This report has now been placed in the public domain until June 22, 2023.

Promoting research and innovation is vital for the growth and competitiveness of higher education institutions. Encouraging collaboration between academia, industry, and government can foster innovation ecosystems.

Nice but all the students have demand to do low the price of admission fees in schools, colleges, universities,and monthly fees should be reduced not more than Rs4000/-, please all the teachers and students, of every school, college and university please reduce the admission fees,and school fees because it's become a profession not a real education jo

Respected PM, nowadays our education system for higer studies and appointment in education like teaching are base on examination only. Ugc has suggested phd is mandatory for appointment as assistant professor in colleges and universities. UGC only conduct examination like NET and SLET for eligibility for assistant professor. why UGC doesn't make it mandatory for appointment as assistant professor for colleges anduniversities.phd is a degree grand byany one of the university but NET and SLET are exam conducted by UGC. pls it is my suggestion to make NET and SLET as eligibility & mandatory for colleges and universities then only we can control money in appointments ln tamilnadu and kerala for appointments more than 40 lacks to 60 lacks were paid for appointment as assistant professor in aidded colleges and autonomous colleges to avoid it pls direct UGC to make NET and SLET mandatory for appointment as assistant professor for colleges and universities
