The Govt. of India has set-up a High Level Committee (HLC) of experienced persons and experts under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri Shanta Kumar, to recommend restructuring of Food Corporation of India (FCI) with a view to improving its operational efficiencies and financial management.

The constitution of the High Level Committee by the Government of India and its terms of reference are placed in the public domain at FCI website: www.fciweb.nic.in  

General Public and stake-holders including professionals, academicians, scientists, NGOs/institutions, self-help groups, co-operatives, farmer bodies/associations, rice/ flour millers, handling & transport contractors, government bodies etc. in the field of food management, agriculture, storage, warehousing, supply chain and logistics etc. are hereby solicited to send their suggestions on restructuring of the Food Corporation of India.

Suggestions are also invited to reorient the role of FCI in Minimum Support Price operations, storage and distribution of foodgrains and food security systems of the country.

Views may also be given with regard to integration of supply chain of foodgrains in the country, suggesting most efficient model for storage and least cost option of moving grains alongwith tracking of carriage. Views on
models of scientific storage and upgradation of technology in management of foodgrains are also welcome.

FCI be divided into four entity east west north south and also procurement distribution storage.It needs to be allowed to appoint distributors all over country to sell food grains on open market.Wheat Rice be sold through such networks.All flour mills be supplied wheat for conversion to atta maida sujee from open market. PDS stocks of wheat for northern states be made available to all ration card holders irrespective of income groups.Likewise Rice eating states be given rice on priority

FCI storage house should be build considering 50 kms radius covered by farms. All those houses then connected to SH,NH, which will be helpful for both farmers and food processing industries and hence provide more benefits to farmers

3. Dignity of Senior Citizen: - bujurgon ke samman ki raksha ke liye aisa kanun hona chahiye ki unke sabhi bachchon (boys & Girls) ki income ka minimum 25% unke mata pita k bank account me sidhe transfer hona chahiye. ESI, PF & TDS ki tarah. 4. Right to Job: - desh ke har nagrik ko uski yogyata k anusaar job ka adhikar hona chahiye jo ki school or college ke turant bad milni chahiye. Right to your Home: - har pariwar k pas apna ghar hona chahiye.

किसानो के लिए न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य कि ऐसी व्यस्था बनानी होगी, ताकि देश का गरीब किसान कम से कम अपनी लगत का ६० से ७० % मुनाफा पा सके, सरकार डायरेक्ट किसानो से बाजार भाव से धान (अनाज), सब्जिया, ख़रीदे. खुद सरकार एग्रीकल्चर प्रोडक्ट मार्केटिंग जेसी संस्था, बनाकर किसानो का अनाज (धान ), सब्जी डायरेक्ट देश कि जनता को बेचे, FCI , APMC , और पुरे भारत में राशन कि दुकाने तो हे ही, कम कॉस्टिंग में ही जल्दी महंगाई काबु में आ जायेगी, ये कदम भारत में क्रांति ला देगा, किसानो को भी फसल का अच्छा लाभ मिलेगा,

the godowns now used only by big people& hoarders.famers are told there is no space by officials even if there is a space.and workers drain grains in the name of rats.wastege will be at large at the end.so FCI godowns to be free of such official rats.godowns should be made near villeges whixh cultivate grains not in cities.should be made available even for small farmers.measures should be taken for good preservatoin of grains.

12. No local guides for outside Disaster management agency when they arrive 13. Youths are not trained in disaster management

8. No holistic assessment on development for risks and impacts 9. Unplanned constructions 10. Lack of disaster-management training on steps to take in the event of a disaster 11. Non-existence of local level citizens committee and semi-trained man power at village/street/mohalla level

1. The weather forecasting system is not good enough 2. Disaster management teams do not have enough authority 3. Disaster management not taught in school 4. Lack of state-centre co-ordination during disasters 5. Lack of public management during festivals in pilgrim places 6. Turnaround time of disaster management team (NDRF) is more 7. We the fellow India remained unmindful forest distortion, rapid urbanization and other infrastructure development in the name of development
