The National Commission for Women, a Statutory Body set up in January 1992 under the National Commission for Women Act, 1990 has the mandate to safeguard the constitutional and statutory rights of women. The Commission initiates program which aids empowerment and holistic development of women so that they are capable to gain access to opportunities and make their own decisions.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women was launched in 2000 by the U.N General Assembly. It is observed annually on November 25th. International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women seeks to raise awareness about violence against women. This day aims to eliminate violence by removing stigma and encouraging women to speak out against abusers. This day defines violence against women as any act of gender-based violence that results in or is likely to result in, physical, sexual, or psychological harm to women. The goal of this day is to achieve equality, development, and peace. It aims toward the fulfillment of women's and girls’ human rights.

In pursuance of its mandate and in order to achieve the goal of ‘Elimination of Violence against Women', the Commission invites inputs, suggestions, and feedback from all stakeholders through MyGov Portal, with a focus on Breaking the Silence against Gender Violence. The aim of the programme is to promote equality, development, and peace among the masses.

The last date to receive suggestions/input is 24th December 2021.

Instead of highlighting the events of violence against the women, we need to focus on the events when women retaliated violence themselves by resisting violence physically and followed by legal action against the violators. We must focus on the women who prevented attacks on themselves and other women more instead of the women who kept complaining but did nothing.

We can do a lot of change in one's mentality and the most strongest weapon is "Education". If we imbibe the importance of "Women Respect" in every child's mind, then it means we are upbringing the great men to the society. Every wrong information should not be published to the society and to its people. Their is no other way to put this thing in mind of the grown ups. A Women life should not be restricted to getting married, giving birth and handling household. A women can contribute equally with men to the society in one or the other way. Negative thoughts and perceptions towards a women only leads to "Domestic Violence and Inequality". So the point is clear here, we should not let men or society to demotivate women anymore. "Stand out, Stand for Right". "Jai Hind"

Awareness, Strong imposition of Law from the Government will not only the solution to bring down the violence against women. Education should come from their home that how they need to behave in the society, how you need to fight for their rights. In my view, whether it will be men or women equal rights to be given in any field. India is a country who have treated women as "Yatra Naryastu Pujyante Ramante Tatra Devata" where it says the divinity of women what bring to our life. Women need to be educated towards how they can stand against the evils of the society, to teach those minds whom they want to violate. Realizing of all the Laws, Policy which are meant for women should reach in all the corners of the country, where each countrymen is responsible to stand along with women.

To Start a movement against inequality in genders, caste, creed, color and ethnicity. Tye day when our country actually achieve the Right To Equality then all these biased culture will go. We are still slaves to these corrupt politicians, industrialists and capitalists. Rich are getting richer and poor are still very poor. Neither those industrialists are taking care of these poor people nor the government on ground roots actually doing anything to come up with a solution to remove poverty on ground level. We do have ample resources in our country to sustain peacefully but our corruption and those industrialists are manipulating the numbers to keep their Rank as a business tycoon and our cheap politicians are prey to their money. The only reason of massive failures to all those budding ideas as entrepreneurs are these capitalists and their power behind is these corrupt politicians. I WILL VOTE FOR :- RIGHT TO EQUALITY RIGHT TO SPEAK RIGHT TO FREEDOM FROM CORRUPTION. JAI HIND.
