The Group of Twenty (G20) is the premier forum for international economic cooperation. It plays an important role in shaping and strengthening global architecture and governance on all major international economic issues.

India has Presidency of G20 from 01st December, 2022 to 30th November, 2023. During this period, India will host over 200 meetings in over 50 cities across 32 different workstreams, and would have the opportunity to offer G20 delegates and guests a glimpse of India’s rich cultural heritage and provide them with a unique Indian experience.

The Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG) of G20, established in 2021, offers inspiration and broad guidance to policy makers on harnessing the digital potential of economies. The Working Group aims at digital transformation to enhance public participation and realize inclusive social and economic growth.

The First Meeting of Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG) of G20 will be held in Lucknow (13th to 15th February, 2023). In the DEWG meeting, deliberation will be on three priority issues
(i). Digital Public Infrastructure,
(ii). Cybersecurity in the Digital Economy and
(iii). Digital Skilling,

These are guided by our G20 theme Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – One Earth One Family One Future. The priority issues will be discussed in closed group meeting with the G20 members.

People from all walks of life, including students, youth, women, private sector, academia and civil society are invited to give valuable suggestions, inputs, opinions and views as to how they will like to associate people in general as a part of the G20 DEWG Meeting.

Namaste ji. Nowadays India became Digital India which was achieved because of Honourable PM Modiji. myGOV played a great role in promoting for the use of Ordinary citizens like me. Even though Digital platform was introduced in 2014, I came to this platform before 5 years only. Nation wide Finger print recognition facilities may be made compulsory in banking sectors, Airports, Temples, Meetings of the High level leaders and in important occasions to reduce the burden of Security personal. It may be designed with the help of UIDAI. In highly secured places Eye ball recognition may also be used. Jai Hind

IT companies are firing employees worldwide and Indian professionals are suffering the most. It was expected that the Digital Public Goods will create huge opportunities for the Indian IT professionals at reasonable salaries. However , after initial good work, the guys in Ek Step, E Gov foundation, ispirit etc ., all perhaps working for free for Government are too slow or perhaps are busy in playing politics or publishing articles of self praise on all media channel be it print , audio etc it is critical that before we go to G20 after reassuring the country that Government is in full control of the initiative and is running it professionally and others are helping but not the driver of this initiative
