India Enterprise Architecture (IndEA) Framework along with its Adoption Guide were developed and released in December, 2018. The vision of IndEA is “to establish best-in-class architectural governance, processes and practices with optimal utilization of ICT infrastructure and applications to offer ONE Government experience to the citizens and businesses”.

During implementation of IndEA as well as in the light of advancement of technology, a need was felt to revise the IndEA document and accordingly, after multiple rounds of meetings and detailed deliberations, draft InDEA 2.0 document has been formulated (report given below). India Digital Ecosystem Architecture (InDEA) 2.0 harmonizes and builds upon the architectural frameworks developed during the last few years. While codifying their principles, it provides a pragmatic approach to realize the concept of open digital ecosystems in an integrated and collaborative manner. It recommends a value-driven approach, a focus on capability building and above all, a preference to ‘enabling’ rather than ‘building’. It is an evolving and dynamic framework with continuous improvement as its mantra. The InDEA 2.0 framework enables establishing such a right balance in all the ongoing architectural initiatives and accelerates the realization of the vision of Digital India.

In the light of the above facts, it is requested to kindly review the document and provide your valuable comments/feedback on the draft InDEA 2.0 document latest by February 27, 2022

I am a software engineer. I find that the concept of Building Blocks (to be available via API) in InDEA 2.0 is good. Since the common and reference building blocks will be built by the private sector, how will the a player in the ecosystem know whether a building block is available already or needs to be built? In other words, what is the proposed discovery mechanism for the building blocks? Thank you.

please consider this,The idea of CSIR/ UGC NET and NEET is grabbing the right to educate and employment opportunities to students who are inaccessible to resources. The idea of calculating and discouraging students interest and ability with set of random difficult questions unrelated to the position of MBBS or assistant professorship is encouraged. The NET exams for the position of assistant professorship except lectureship must be done separately or by state. This rule kills the research interest in students who want to do phd with no scope for employment. while we have board exams separately for each subject why would neet be necessary. If neet is for helping students who can't afford.please give the same right to students who can afford to educate in private colleges without neet. BOTH THESE ARE HELPING ONLY BUISNESS MINDED TRAINING CENTERS AND STUDENTS WITH GOOD FACILITIES.THIS RULE IS NOT EQUALLY HELPING EVERYONE.

I will suggest that if we change the address in Adhar, it should reflect in other documents which are linked with Adhar. This should be very helpful to all Indian people to avoid may difficulties.

Aadhaar is based on a person's biometric data & has a no. of safety features like generating Virtual ID, turning on & off biometric authentication & also blocking the real Aadhaar no. Further, duplication of Aadhaar is impossible. Basis this Aadhaar should be converted from only a ID & Address proof to a PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP which should also be extended to NRIs who hold Indian citizenship. Also, only Aadhaar should be accepted as ID & Address proof apart from Passport. In Aadhaar Card in all its valid forms & in Passport address should not be mentioned. Address should only be captured in the backend server & for verification the organisations who have been provided the rights for verification should verify it online only. This will ensure that once the Aadhaar card & Passport are issued, they are re- issued only when there are any changes in the security features or the Passport has expired or there is any demographic changes (except address) thus saving re-issuance costs.
