India Enterprise Architecture (IndEA) Framework along with its Adoption Guide were developed and released in December, 2018. The vision of IndEA is “to establish best-in-class architectural governance, processes and practices with optimal utilization of ICT infrastructure and applications to offer ONE Government experience to the citizens and businesses”.

During implementation of IndEA as well as in the light of advancement of technology, a need was felt to revise the IndEA document and accordingly, after multiple rounds of meetings and detailed deliberations, draft InDEA 2.0 document has been formulated (report given below). India Digital Ecosystem Architecture (InDEA) 2.0 harmonizes and builds upon the architectural frameworks developed during the last few years. While codifying their principles, it provides a pragmatic approach to realize the concept of open digital ecosystems in an integrated and collaborative manner. It recommends a value-driven approach, a focus on capability building and above all, a preference to ‘enabling’ rather than ‘building’. It is an evolving and dynamic framework with continuous improvement as its mantra. The InDEA 2.0 framework enables establishing such a right balance in all the ongoing architectural initiatives and accelerates the realization of the vision of Digital India.

In the light of the above facts, it is requested to kindly review the document and provide your valuable comments/feedback on the draft InDEA 2.0 document latest by February 27, 2022

Over the years, the notion of India has largely revolved around the diversity narrative. Keeping the larger vision for the nation in mind, both for contemporary times and for the future, emphasis now lies on local manufacturing ('Made in India' and 'vocal' about 'local'). Before the nation approaches the global level, creation of world-class products promoting investments and value pricing remain the focus. This shall lead to establishment of a level-playing business ecosystem, keeping the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in mind. Not only will sustainability remain a key, increased participation of local craftsmen and artisans shall be witnessed as well. For a successful Independence 2.0, the sentiments of India's rich cultural heritage will be tapped. All the aforementioned elements (such as Visva Guru Bharat, Aatmanirbhar Bharat) will be imbibed in spirit while implementing this vision. Along with imbibing ethos, marketing battles will also have to be fought in the fast evolvin

Sir, we need to make some design changes in the LED bulbs in such a way that it’s white part should open by rotation and lock by rotation. This will make easy access to repair such bulbs by simply soldering that contact which is causing light flicker. This will save lots of money on production and very less money on repairs.

India’s agriculture sector accounts for about 15.9 % of the country’s US$ 2.7 trillion economy and 49% of employment (2018-19). To achieve the government’s goal of doubling farmer’s income by 2022, the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmer Welfare has decided to take an ecosystem approach to address the agriculture sector holistically. It is referencing the framework designed by the Ministry of Electronics and IT, especially the India Digital Ecosystem Architecture (InDEA). The initiative proposed for the agriculture sector is thus named IDEA (InDEA Digital Ecosytem of Agriculture). The consultation paper outlines the proposed operations structure for IDEA.
