Instead of CESCO, NESCO etc stop and make electric in to Eletricity Corporation of India next state electricity corporation, Odisha like wise. Tendencies of people at present attract the big nomenclatures and if under Govt, the status and accountability will be high. Plz use land phone for electricity Corporation which is a remembrance of our own past. Helpline numbers and under direct supervision of Central should be. I would like to suggest abolition of all free electricity commitments to enable the concerned electricity boards to function properly. This will save electricity also.

I have not read the document , but a quick glance suggests that there is no mention of the subject of “ Safety “.We see so many fires & deaths due to short ciruits/ negligence in the Electric Power usage. I urge Authorities to consider this topic seriously as well.

1. Trees or plants close to Electric poles and transmission lines are dangerous.
2. Electric poles need good grounding and there should be periodical tests conducted by local authorities for electricity leakage.
3. Most Led light bulbs which are common in every Indian homes lack quality. The positioning of diodes need to be improved inside the LEDs.
4. EMF exposure needs to be checked while installing electric lines, power grids, mobile and TV towers. Too much exposure is hazardous.

Instead of building big hydro projects in Utterakhand post tragedy , govt must focussed on small turbine based local projects to generate electricity to support local peoples demand

LED lights(Bulbs, Tubes and other designer lights) have potential health hazards. The blue light emitted by LEDs are dangerous to human health and needs to be filtered out at all costs. There has been some research done at IISC:
