Sir, NEP-2021 should give priority to solar power generation as in india we r enjoying more than 300 sunny days.2-farmers r to be made self sufficient on solar power generation and debt free electricity consumption.3-dependence on thermal power to be reduced for minimising mining activities which r destroying our planet.4-lighting up towns & villages should be through solar panels only.5-for industries and rails r to provided with continuous thermal & atomic Power plants electricity as essential

The draft National Electricity Policy (NEP) which, under the Electricity Act, 2003 is a guiding policy for planning power generation, supply and investment, has emphasised on increasing private participation, especially in power distribution in its latest revision. The NEP has also introduced power quality, micro grids, pump hydro storage, real time power markets in the draft policy statement as key focus areas.

People manipulate the meters so that it shows less reading. this practice is common with support of lower level officials. Smart meters need to be immediately installed.

Electricity policy needs to focus on coordinating efforts of generation, distribution and transmission sectors to ensure minimum losses in the chain. All these sectors and companies responsible for different work need to share financials to keep win win for consumers and businesses.

Got must share the figures of free electricity provided by various Govts, electricity theft, transmission losses, renewable electricity generation and the agencies producing electricity and who are doing well and who are not, who are the liabilities and who are the assets to generate more electricity at less cost.
Public and users must know about it and consume the electricity and water as national resource and not as a private or public property.
Declare the wastage/ theft as national crime.

DOs and Donts must be sensitized to all customers in usage and operation. It avoids wastage of usage of power and thus we can save power . Power save is power produced. Due to lack of knowledge and awareness many people are not using it properly and the dept should take an Initaition on minimising power consumption. Correct auditing and eradicating theft power should be needed to avoid lose in the Dept.
