The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) was notified as an overarching skills regulator on 5th December 2018 vide notification No. SD-17/113/2017-E&PW. The NCVET is responsible for regulating the functioning of entities engaged in vocational education and training, both long & short-term, and establish minimum standards for the functioning of such entities.

NCVET has also been mandated to carry out following functions pertaining to grievance redressal:
a. Provide redressal to aggrieved person (s) against any listed grievances relating to the functioning of the recognized bodies under the aegis of the NCVET.
b. Require recognized bodies to redress grievances of their respective aggrieved person(s), and providing commensurate remedial actions, including any penalty(s).

NCVET has also been mandated to frame the guidelines on Grievance Redressal Mechanism by stating the obligations of recognized bodies to redress grievances and provide recommendations on establishment of a system of grievance redressal.

In pursuance to the above mandate, NCVET has developed the draft of ‘GUIDELINES OF NCVET ON GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM - 2021’.
This document encapsulates the categories of the grievances which will be dealt with by NCVET and its recognized bodies, the procedure to be followed by NCVET and its recognized bodies for addressing different categories of grievances submitted by the stakeholders. It intends to provide clarity on end-to-end processes of the grievance redressal mechanism. The guidelines also aim to describe the expected / possible outcomes of the grievance redressal.

Comments are invited from the public on the proposed guidelines by 30th September 2021

We are expecting reform in Govt Department working and accountability.

Plenty of them just come to office to do their business or unethical income

When new employee is inducted in Department they also learn such unethical practices.

We should remove such kind of people from system to reform.

I have seen senior officer collecting money from factories parking his car on main road and calling office staff to pay money. Reason they can not go in factories without Notice, and camera recording.

Technology can facilitate can not do.
Current Grivience system doen not raise alarm to next level if it is not responded within time.

Several Officers I have seen even they don't have Grievance App or Computer Skill.

Surprisingly it is UPSC passed officer's also.

What a level of officers plenty are JUNK and just corrupt

Sir at RTO offices at the entrance and inside the offices they display a notice board that people should come without agents and coming with agents is unlawful......but, if we go there without agents they intentionally delay our applications and many times even reject our applications unnecessarily. Those people who have to protect the public from such problems, they themselves are creating huge problems to public.. So getting a service from an RTO office has became an headache for the public.

RESPECTED SIR
THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM OF ANY KIND WHETHER VOCATIONAL OR ACADEMIC OR ANY OTHER SOLELY DEPENDS UPON THE TEACHER WHO ARE SAID TO BE NATION BUILDER ; HOWEVER THE TEACHERS OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND INSTITUTES ARE JUST GETTING 10000-12000 0R 15000.
HOWEVER GOVERNMENT TEACHERS ARE GETTING 5-6 TIMES FOR THE SAME WORK. IS THIS JUSTIFIABLE??????????
EVEN PRIVATE TEACHERS ARE EXPLOITED BY TAKING MUCH WORK FROM THEM.
FIRST DO SOMETHING IN THIS MATTER PLEASE.
