International Day of Yoga is also called as the World Yoga Day. The idea of International Day of Yoga was first proposed by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, during his speech at the UNGA, on 27 September 2014. United Nations General Assembly declared 21st of June as the International Day of Yoga on 11th of December in 2014. Since 2015, 21st June is always celebrated as the International Day of Yoga all over the world.

This year, on the occasion of International Day of Yoga, Ministry of AYUSH has decided to invite suggestions/ideas/plans/proposals from Youth/ Youth Clubs/Senior citizens/Professionals/State Governments/Yoga Schools etc. for Celebrating the International Day of Yoga-2017, which can be undertaken on that day.

The last day of submission of ideas is 20th March, 2017.

I only suggest one thing the yoga not be more complicated because it's make difficult to elders. we do only simple step of yoga because it is easy to all person of the world in this way yoga is better & usefull way to understand all the public of the world .

Sir, Digi locker is very good saved my 600 rs to convert driving licence into chip driving licence but when i am downloading vehicle registration i found error because it is with the name of my family member. Sir insurance must also visible in digi locker. Thank you..

Sir, Yoga should be made compulsary in school and colleges and also senior citizens should be to practice yoga to keep Fitness. V?N.Deshpande.

India's greatest contribution to mankind is Yoga. But it now seems to be loosing the ancient knowledge. Yoga is equated with asanas when it is so much more. Result is adults and children, rich and poor, in all walks of life are all anxious. Please use concepts in the research (http://bit.ly/2lFHFJ1) to increase resilience, and well being of people by teaching them coherence techniques. Can you imagine the result if the whole country practiced heart focus breathing for 15 minutes every week?

FOR EVERY SCHOOL STUDENT EITHER BOY OR GIRL UPTO 9TH STANDARD REQUIRE TO PRACTICE THREE TIME SANDHYAVA VANDANA OR ATLEAST MORNING BEFORE SUNRISE AND EVENING JUST AFTER SUNSET. DEMONSTRATIVE PART IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN YOUTUBE FOR OBSERVATION AND PRACTICE. ON SUNDAYS AND LEISURE MAKE AN HABIT OF STUDYING VEDAS AND PURANAS. WITH THIS HELP, STUDENTS SHOULD DEVELOP CONCENTRATION ON STUDIES FOR LONG HOURS, PERSONALITY AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT ETC. WHO ARE IN PRACTICE OF SANDHYA VANDANA NEVER CHEATED.

YOGA IS A BLESSING TO THE LONG LIVE WITH MENTAL PEACE AND PHYSICAL STAMINA. ASHTANG YOGA consisting of YAMA (THINK, SPEAK AND EXPRESSION AS PER NEED), NIYAMA (SELF DISCIPLINE TO KEEP ONCESELF ENGAGE THROUGHOUT THE DAY WITH CONSTRUCTIVE THOUGHT), PRANAYAMA (ALOMA VILOMA, KAPALBBATHI, BHASTRIKA), PRATYAHARA (TIMELY AND HEALTH BALANCED FOOD INTAKE), ASANA. DHYANA (MEDIDATION), DHARANA (DEEP AND LONG TIME MEDIDATION), SAMADHI (LEAD THE LIFE WITH END OF DESIRE BUT AIM TO HELP OTHERS IS THE CRITERIA.

Dear Modi ji thanks for directing us to sustainable health.Yoga is right path for being healthy and have quality life time. schools and colleges keeping child for long hour almost whole day. It is very useful if we can introduce warm up basic exercise for 5 to 6 mints.helps a lot for keeping stress less day. And of course long run it helps to have required self confidence and avoid thoughts of committing suicide for even minor issues.

Nowadays in youth decipline is lagging. Because it is not in their curriculumhence they are not taught. Yoga gives inner and outer discipline . It should be taught in the schooling itself. So I strongly believe that yoga should be the part of curriculum. If they were taught yoga in their child hood they become good citizens in their youth.

FIRST OF ALL I WOULD LIKE TO CONGRATULATE HONOURABLE PRIME MINISTER SHRI NARENDRA MODI FOR PROPOSING THE IDEA OF INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA. MY SUGGESTION FOR CELEBRATING THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA WOULD BE ,MAKE YOGA AS A PART OF CIRICULLUM FOR SCHOOL,INTER AND DEGREE STUDENTS.INSTITUTIONS SHOULD TAKE ATLEAST TWO CLASSES IN A WEEK BY TELLING THE IMPORTANCE OF YOGA AND ENCOURAGING STUDENTS SO THAT THE STUDENTS WONT CULTIVATE THE HABIT OF WILDNESS, ANRGY AND HASTINESS.
