The general public/stakeholder is hereby informed that the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) invites comments/suggestions on the amendment in “Apprentices Act,1961” with an objective to enhance the apprenticeship opportunities for youth.

Any person/stakeholder desirous of sending their comments/suggestions may do so through e-mail at anita.sriv@nic.in within thirty working days from the date of publication of the details of the invite.

The last date for submission of inputs is 10th May 2021.

The Apprentices Act, 1961 provides for regulation and control of training of apprentices. Section 3-A of the Act makes provisions for reservation of training places for the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, but there is no provision for reservation of training places for the Other Backward Classes (OBCs).

देश में संसाधनों की इतनी कमी नहीं है की लोगों को आपदा के समय कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़े। विडंबना इस बात की है कि कुछ वर्ग केवल इस बात का सूक्ष्म अवलोकन करते हैं कि अब किस चीज की डिमांड बढ़ने जा रही है और फिर कृत्रिम अभाव बना/बनवा कर कालाबाजारी शुरू कर दी जाती है। इन लोगों की नैतिकता इतनी गिर जाती है की यह लोगों की जिंदगी बचाने वाली औषधियों तथा ऑक्सीजन इत्यादि की कालाबाजारी भी शुरू कर देते हैं, ऐसे लोगों का एक डाटाबेस तैयार किया जाए तथा इनके विरुद्ध कठोरतम कार्रवाई करते हुए फर्म कोअवैध किया जाए

eskill India portal courses should be freely given to interested citizens.Why u are charging fees for that?it's good for Indian context that youths want themselves to be skilled but this charges on courses are not justified.
