We expect Municipal Corporation shall implement standards on drinking/potable water, servicer water & bottled water to be followed by all suppliers (including CMWSSB) and sewage treatment plant effluents standards to be followed by all treatment facilities (including CMWSSB). This is the gap in our management system No monitoring from governing body. Similarly no monitoring of buildings, Roads, Bridges, tunnels, Railways constructed by government organisations by Municipal Corporation or CMDA or Municipality.

To see the country grow rapidly we must use all the working resources in hand. There is a sizable number of people over 60-yrs who are either retired or forced to retire. Most of them are quite fit and healthy and want to work and can add positively to the growth of the country in different sectors. Unfortunately, there is no structure in place to use this highly productive work force. I am an example of this class and suffering from a forced retirement. We must seriously think in this direction and try to use this untapped resource for the benefit of the country.
