At this hour, we recall that North Korea and South Korea were created as the U.S.S.R invaded from the north in August 1945 but stopped along the 38th Parallel as agreed with the U.S.A, and left North Korea after establishing a repressive ‘Communist Dynasty’. On 25th June 1950, North Korea invaded South Korea but the United Nations Command (UNC) defeated the invaders and pushed them back deep into North Korea. Then, on 25th November 1950, the Peoples’ Republic of China (PRC) launched a massive offensive with 300,000 troops against the UNC. India had supported North Korea and the PRC. In November 1950, India opposed the UN resolution declaring the PRC as an aggressor in the Korean War. The then PM was vexed at the belligerence of the U.S.A against the PRC and commented that Americans were “hysterical”. But such support did not stop the PRC from infiltrating into Tibet and the open borders of India and Soviet Union tacitly supported PRC’s invasion in 1962.

Appeal to use public transport 2 days a week (on Sat / Sun), impose restriction of using private cars and 2 wheelers on at least 1 day of the week ( Saturday ) because even if you reduce duties on fuel, when purchase cost is higher country needs internal austertity whether imposed or appealed.
