Dear Modiji, Local Trains - the lifeline of Mumbai.. The number of women travelers has increased over a period of time however the ladies' compartment especially the first class compartment still has a sitting capacity of 13 women and many times it is found that people with general tickets also travel in the first class compartments. We neither find ticket checkers on the platform nor in the compartment. And because of all these a lot of fights and issue are being observed. Request you to take these matters and come up with some solutions and increase compartment size and Ticket checker not in only AC local but otherwise as well

Sudhir Kalkar Pune , Maharashtra Representing group called Maitra Pariwar. we got associated with the School Sadhana Vidyalaya in Mumbai. Sadhana Vidyalaya is the School working for hearing impairment. We got engaged with this School through one of our associates and we started doing small educational support for these kids, we tried helping them through various means. To start with, we decided to form a 'Battery Bank' and involve our friends and relatives for the contribution of batteries. We feel Hearing aids are being provided by many social organizations, Government institutes, corporates but bearing recurring cost is the pain for some of the poor parents. So, according to us this initiative will help them a lot .We are calling this Battery Bank campaign 'Shravan Mitra'. We have already supported around 400 Students with the batteries and will keep supplying them continuously. We will be expanding this Project in Nashik, Pune and also in Rural areas as well.

Sir mera ek suggestion hai ki aap baccho ke documents me unki mother ka name compulsory kar de aur agar bache aur unki mother unke father ka name nhi likhana chahe toh koi issue na ho.. because bahut sari akeli mother hai jo apne baccho ko akeli paal rhi hai, aur kuch aisi abhi hai jinhone shadi nhi kari aur unhone babies ko adopt kiya hai akele hi .. lekin schools hoo ya colleges sab jagah sirf father ke hi name priority rehti hai .. so sir mei sirf yei kehna chahti hoon ki aap kuch aisa kare ki akele mother ke name ko bhi priority mile.. I know sir ki kuch aise father's bhi hai jinhone apne baccho ko akele pala hai lekin unke name ko toh priority mil jati hai sab jagah lekin mother ka kya jo baccho ko akele palti hai bada karti hai aur jab khi document ho admission ho ya kuch bhi hoo.. father ka name pucha jata hai toh us mother par kya asar padhta hoga... Respected Sir. I was in Copenhagen to attend the IWA World Water Congress from 9th to 16th September 2022. I closely observed their bicycle system. How amazingly they have developed the infrastructure for cycle and also footpath for pedestrians. Based on my learning and observation, I have written an article for the Assam Tribune named " Transforming Guwahati into a Copenhagen".
