Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is celebrated every year on 31st October to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, which serves as a significant occasion to reaffirm the spirit of national unity, integrity, and collective strength. The Ekta Parade organized at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, is a central feature of these celebrations, showcasing the cultural diversity, achievements, and unity of the nation through disciplined contingents and thematic tableaux.

With the objective of enhancing the quality, inclusiveness, and thematic richness of the tableaux to be presented during the Ekta Parade 2026, the Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with MyGov, is inviting ideas from citizens to democratize participation and provide an opportunity for citizens across the country to contribute creatively to this prestigious national event.

The primary objective of this activity is to harness the collective imagination, creativity, and innovative perspectives of the people of India. Citizens from diverse backgrounds, such as students, artists, professionals, and enthusiasts, can offer unique insights that reflect contemporary themes of national integration, cultural heritage, technological progress, and social harmony. This participatory approach will not only augment the conceptual foundation of the tableaux but also ensure that the final presentations resonate more deeply with the aspirations and sentiments of the public. Citizen participation in the conceptualization phase will help in identifying fresh, relevant, and impactful themes that might not emerge through conventional channels alone. It encourages a sense of ownership and pride among citizens, as their ideas may contribute to shaping a national-level showcase. Additionally, it promotes transparency and inclusiveness in the planning process, aligning with the broader vision of citizen engagement in governance.

The collected ideas will be carefully compiled and analyzed to identify common themes, innovative concepts, and regionally diverse representations. Based on this input, meaningful themes for the tableaux will be finalized. Subsequently, proposals will be invited to develop detailed designs and concepts aligned with the selected themes, ensuring professional execution while retaining the essence of public contributions.

This initiative will surely enhance the visual appeal, narrative strength, and emotional connect of the tableaux. By integrating public ideas into the design process, the tableaux will better reflect the collective identity of the nation and effectively convey messages of unity, diversity, and national pride. Conclusively, this activity will make Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2026 more engaging and inclusive and also represent the true idea of good governance.

The proposed tableau theme, "Unity in Progress - Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat," presents a compelling visual narrative of India's journey from cultural richness to a technologically empowered future. The front section features Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as the symbol of national integration. The central section showcases India's diverse cultural heritage through traditional art forms and regional representations. The rear section highlights modern India with smart cities, renewable energy, and digital innovation. A rotating Ashoka Chakra crowns the tableau, symbolizing unity, dynamism, and constitutional strength. The concept seamlessly blends tradition, diversity, and progress, creating a powerful expression of national pride, inclusivity, and collective growth in line with the spirit of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.

Respected Prime Minister Modi, Every state must step up—by driving progress in every sector and building global supply chains, we can achieve rapid growth in just 5 or 10 years, not 20. With this vision, our youth must lead. Together, we will build a prosperous, safe, and unemployment-free India. Let us be the nation that leads the world, teaching everyone how to build a harmonious, united future. Thank you.

Respected Prime Minister Modi, I am writing to highlight the tremendous progress in West Bengal and Assam, which is a great achievement for our nation. From Siliguri, we aspire to even greater heights: we need a premier hospital like AIIMS, top-tier schools and colleges to attract global students, and a world-class sports stadium to nurture future football and basketball stars. Siliguri’s climate and potential for heritage tourism are exceptional—we must create a heritage bridge over Teesta and a high-speed flyover road to Nathula, ensuring swift army access. I also urge you to appoint a Nepali cabinet minister from Siliguri, as the Nepali community here has been vital in fostering unity. Your support will help us unlock this region’s immense potential. Thank you.

Honourable Prime Minister Modiji, This is now the time for us all to come together and make our India great again. The Indian economy is currently rising rapidly and we hope it will continue to stay strong. The contribution of road infrastructure has been very helpful in supporting this growth. However, alongside road infrastructure development, we must also focus more on road safety, driving education, and traffic awareness. These initiatives will help improve driving sense and traffic discipline across the country. I would like to propose the introduction and strengthening of road safety education, driving education, and traffic education programs nationwide. Such measures will not only save lives but also enhance the efficiency of our transport systems and support sustainable economic growth. I hope I will be given the chance to contribute toward making our country great again. Jai Ma Bharti Thank you Jaykishan Panchal
