80c savings must be increased now to at least 5lacs. It’s long pending. A general person need minimum of all these benefits: 1. PF 2. PPF 3. FD 4. Life Insurance 5. SSY etc but it isn’t fair to subject them all under same max cap of 1.5 lakhs. Which is nothing. Nothing at all. Please be public’s favorite and keep them in your mind making such policies.

1. PPF interest rate should be appreciated 2. Spending power of taxpayer should be appreciated over non tax payers 3. Ways to be explored to increase the tax paying population to reduce the burden of existing tax payers 4. Krishi Samman Nidhi should be allowed for contribution by tax payers along with suitable tax exemption under section 80 C 5. Prices of Fuel should be regulated in such a way that tax payers get benefit and tax evaders should be burdened 6. GST on any edible products/food items should be fixed at the minimum level possible with no changes 7. All food products should have uniform price across country, e.g., a soap bought from a shopping mall as well as a local kirana store should have the same price for consumer. 8. Inflation should affect only the luxury class items and not the items used day to day by middle class/common man.

Agricultural income at present is exempt under the Income Tax Act. There is a reason for this. India is predominantly agro based economy and there is need to protect small farmers. However, the exemption is misused by tax evaders to launder their black money. Further, seed companies are claiming income earned by them as agricultural income and exemption claimed by them runs into hundreds of crores. Further, in real estate business, sale of land is disguised as agricultural land and capital gains are claimed as agricultural income. Any cash deposit, expenditure or cash loan, first defence of the tax evader is either agricultural income or loan sourced from agricultural income. Therefore, agricultural income above a threshold, say, Rs.50 Lakhs should be taxed. Rate of tax can also be kept low if the government decides. This way small farmers would be protected and tax evasion would be curbed. Regards, Dr L Ramji Rao

A great initiative. 1) Please give relief to tax payers by increasing tax slabs. 2) Limit of 80C to be increased and NPS limit of 50 thousand may be increased. 3)Old pension scheme should be brought back immediately as the New Pension scheme is not up to the mark. While private companies are investing in PF then why govt employees have to put their money in NPS.Lot of people are retiring and getting meagre amount as pension which is tarnising the image of the Gov. 4) A seperate tax benefit for first time house owners on primary amount and the interest rebate of Rs. 2 lacs to be increased as loan and houses are getting costly day by day. 5)As businessmen can claim tax rebate on products purchased in gst,in the same way tax payers should also be able to file for GST rebate on products purchased. 6) A common tax payer is paying salary tax and each and every tax on any purchase made.Roughly 30%+18% 7)Health insurance premium to be taxed at 5% and slab to be increased.
