Income Tax: The change has been done in the income tax rates for individuals and corporations.
Surcharge on Long Term Capital Gains (LTCG): Currently, listed equity and equity mutual funds attract a surcharge of 15% on LTCG. Surcharge is 25% if the income is between Rs 2 crore to Rs 5 crore and 37% if the income is more than Rs 5 crore. The budget has proposed to cap all surcharges at 15%.
Tax on Virtual Digital Assets: Income on transfer of cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens will be taxed at the rate of 30%. The loss on these transfers cannot be set off against any other income, nor can it be carried forward to subsequent years.
Updating return of income: The taxpayer is allowed to file an updated return of income within two years from the end of the assessment year. If this is filed in the year following the assessment year, they will have to pay a penalty of 25% on the tax and interest payable and 50% in the second year.

Government should work on how to increase taxpayers and ITR should be mandatory with certain criteria, very few people fill ITR in self employed class due to their transaction in Cash or through UPI,
Finance department can easily form committee to identify self employed or businessman not paying tax and work on this issue.
There should be something help from government if any tax payer lost their regular income in that case government should help to survive, there should be some amount gets allocated for this.
Every direct tax payer feels they did not get anything rewards for paying taxpayer.

Sr. Citizen who paid income tax for last several years, for life, it is expected that Sr citizens to be given free medical, transport and relief from income tax on retirement income. It is difficult to manage medical expenses in old age as well cost of living is going up.

Namste PM ji,
1st of all thank u for considering or taking suggestions from comman man, my suggestion as follows,
1. Salaried person burden - Tax slab need to update like over all limit and main thing is 80C section need to increase from 1.5L to 3.5L as our EPF only get almost 45 to 50% contribution.
2. If the same tax slab continues, please arrenge Or give or assign some benifits to tax payers like free medical and free child education facilities. If pvt education or medical give subsidy up to 50%.
3. Try to comman the education system like CBSC, State board, ICSE, etc etc. One comman seducation system required for Bharat.
4. We have to more concentrate to make one comman platform for caste and category we are indians so only one quota, I know it's more difficult as we need to think all state all People's emotions.
5.population law need to implement.
overal for this budget i request you to give some benifits to salaried persons.
Thank you,

It’s very simple,
Our avg working professional who is in cap of tax has to pay the taxes even though they don’t have the security of their future, they earn and pay the taxes, by any reason if their job is left at that no govt officials help them in that situation.
They are not getting extra privileges for paying the taxes.
According to my personal opinion job worker must get some security for their future if they are helping in our countries growth, I know this weird and in the name of country we don’t have to ask these things but still we are the people of this country and when we are happy everyone will be.

Dear Sir,
One more suggestion, service class person salary comes after income etc deductions and the leftover money wherever we spend be it hotel/restaurants, grocery, household items, I mean on every thing we have pay 18% or so as GST etc taxes. Don’t you feel this is so wrong with service class people. There must be some process to avoid such duplication & burden on service class / income tax payers
Thanks 🙏
