Salaried employees are paying that to in organised sector. The standard deduction is very low compared with the present cost and tax payment. It should be increased taken as basic amount and more slab to be introduced with increase in the next tax payment. Presently even allowance is also included in this category. Going with the present trend of medical cost both consultation and medicine it should not be included with standard deduction and separate exemption to be given for this.

I'm Chartered Accountant in Practise. I can see many of our clients who are contractors are paying 20 to 30 % bribe to get contracts. After paying significant % , it is obvious that he has to complete work and make profit also within that 70% The result is decreased quality. On other hand , many govt office like Register office, VAO etc get bribe for issuing any kind of certificate. The solution is every government services has to be made online and online tracking system should be there. More than that awareness of such online services should be made to general public. If we can eradicate bribe, then we can see increased quality everywhere and ultimately there will be New India.

Honble FM may consider reducing GST on the premium paid on health insurance premium for senior citizens. The deduction available for Senior citizen for insurance premium paid for health insurance is Rs.50000. The cost of medical insurance has gone up considerably. The amount of deduction may be increased from the present limit of Rs.50000/ to Rs.75000/ In my case I am paid Rs.76000 for a cover of Rs.4.00 lacs with a top up of Rs.3.00lacs. my pension is Rs.50000/ and I have to pay Rs.6000/ as insurance premium including GST of 18%
