In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations.

Respected Madam ,
Here are my suggestions:
1.Increase GST on ACs ,Coolers ,fans costing more than Rs2000 and decrease GST on table fans .
2.Increase GST on vehicles depending upon size and cost of vehicle ,including two wheelers .
3.Increase GST on mobile phones ,TVs,Fully Automatic Washing machines .
4.Decrease GST on cycles .

Honourable Finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman Mam i request you to reduce the fee of government universities especially IITs because it is very hard for a middle class family to pay that high fee of nearly 2,50,000 per annum. So Mam I hope you will see this and take a small place in the union budget for this subsidy in the IITs fee

इनकम टैक्स का सरलीकरण करते हुए माध्यम वर्ग के लोग जिनकी नेट आमदनी 20 लाख तक हो,उन्हें 10 प्रतिशत टैक्स के दायरे में लाया जाना चाहिए।
रुपये के अवमूल्यन के पश्चात 10 लाख तक के नेट इनकम को टैक्स फ्री करना चाहिए।

Policies favoring 1 child (Completely voluntary).

New Tax slab favoring 1 child only. People having only 1 child will pay 2%,3%,5%,7% less tax in tax slab of 5%,10%,15%,20% respectively(tax slabs are also suggestion for : 5-10 lakh; 10-15 lakh; 15-20 lakh; 20-25 lakh respt).

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी अब की बार बजट में आप नौकरीपेशा लोगों को मिलने वाली आयकर छूट सीमा को बढ़ाया जाए। साथ ही हाउसिंग, मेडिकल और शैक्षिक सेवाओं के लिए मिलने वाली कर छूट को इससे अलग रखा जाए।

Dear Sir/ Mam,
As per Section 24 of Income Tax Act "Interest of Pre-construction Period" allowed in five equal installments commencing from the previous year in which the house is acquired or constructed. Individual consider the deduction on the date of booking of the flat where as the actual position of property is not received. Department and also Company are not thoroughly check this section. It is requested you please abolish this section and it creates a huge relief on Ind. tax payer
