In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th June 2019.

Importers & Borrowers are not hedging obligatory remittances properly- Since RBI indirectly infuse / draw forex reserve, volatility on forex counter ultimately hits common taxpayers. Though reduces, still a lot of corruption is rampant ant at Customs Points- Surprise visits and scanning SB/BoE clearance file would substantiate this.. Stringent punishment- eg summary dismissal is solicited Regulatory sandboxes to be centrally administered . Federalism keeps some loose ends- to be tihgtened

I would like to give following suggestions- 1. India had been spending hefty on military and armed forces but this does not proved to be successful strategy. Now India has to work on R & D in a swift manner in the field of Space and Cyber area, these two sector need huge investment. 2. Increase the allocated money in Healthcare, Education. 3. Reduce various unfruitful Social Schemes. 4.Monetary power to Panchayats and Muncipal Corp so they work efficiently 5. Policy to Curb on Gold Imports

Create a unique ID for every people and also link with all Scheme with Taxation . and if any Subsidy or waive off is given by Govt or any other then then you co related that data. for example :- if Govt not reduce GST Rate as Directly and co related with People that if that Unique id given to supplier and quote this on that buying invoice then government return sum money as refund or subsidy . people aware about the invoice and through unique id you collect all data.

A few items for your consideration Ms Finance Minister, Mrs Nirmala Sitharaman. thanks 1. improved budgetary allocation to education; make it attractive for teachers to get back to schools 2. eliminate duplication of capital gains taxes - STT, DDT LTCG - focus on capital formation 3. Introduce tax free bonds again 4. Make SEBI, IRDA more accountable 5. Eliminating fees charged for digital payments - airlines for example 6. collect details of all farm income - land and revenue

Salaried class pays jajiya tax since independence. That is income tax. Other class like business people, farmers and politicians do not pay income tax. Please give us relief in income tax. And make system or policies so that other class also pay income tax honestly like salaried class. Hum kab tak jajiya tax bharate rahenge...

1) Revision/Enhancement of Bankers pension on top priority. 2) Enhancement of Interest Income from 50,000/- to 80,000. 3) Addicting Special Pay Components to all retirement benefits 4) Enhancement limit of Leave Encash ment limits from 3.00 to 8.00 lacs 5) Concession in Mediclaim premium to retired employees who are com pleated more than 28 years services 6) Enhancement in Family Pension . 7) Enhancement of Tax limit from 3 to 4.00 lacs to Sr.Citizens.
