Few thoughts 1) Please focus on EWS based reservation/benefits rather than simple caste/religion based one. Let the people who cannot afford benefit. 2) Scrap 10% LTCG for people who pay taxes on salary and are not traders. Those who are purely investing as savings after taxes. 3) Introduce tax on agricultural income beyond a threshold income just like direct income tax. 4) Focus on water conservation & renewable energy 5) Digitize real-estate holdings 6) Infrastructure development

1.Modify Tax slabs : Currently we have 5%,10% and 30% slabs. If we can have 20% slab for 10L-20L it would be very helpful for upper middle class. 2.Get reward points system to encourage tax payers. Based on amount of tax paid one can accumulate points against their PAN/Aadhar which can be used to pay any govt related fees or to avail govt services or can be extended for In-direct taxes through GST

Increase the open loop prepaid card per day loading limit from INR 50,000 to INR 2,00,000 and per day spending limit from INR 1,00,000 to 5,00,000 . Because of the restrictions in loading and spending limit customers are forced to pay cash in industries like Gold Jewelleries,Textiles and Hospitals. These are the industries where customers spend major part of their cash.Through this the Govt can enhance the Digital payments, Minimize the cash Flow in the economy and can increase the Tax Revenue.

Suggestion I suggest that the centenarians ( age above 100yrs) may completely exempted from Income Tax , if their income is only from pension, interest etc. It is because they are in stage of life where they spend most of their income as well as time to look after their frail health conditions and fighting the old related illnesses. As a mark of respect for their age and alleviate them from hassles of ITR they must be exempted . This will give them some more comfort in their sunset years.

Please insert section clearly outlining the taxability / exemption of different components with regards to the Redevelopment of housing property. There are currently case laws stating corpus is not taxable since the same is a hardship alloance. However the tax authorities are not entertaining t he same leading to many litigations. Please come with a clear law to reduce such litigation since redevelopments are on full swing in major cities such as Mumbai.
