India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

MyGov invites you to share your ideas and suggestions on how to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

1. Reduce
2. Reuse
3. Recycle
4. Renewable
5. Recover
6. Re-design
7. Re-manufacture

Few examples for the above:
Reduce - Electricity, Fuel Usage
Reuse - Old Clothes, Electronics, Building materials, furniture
Recycle - Plastic, newspapers, cartons, boxes
Renewable - Solar, Wind, Hydro, Tidal, Geothermal & Biomass
Recover - Forests, rivers, soil, mountains, wildlife
Redesign - Green buildings
Remanufacture - E-waste for new purposes

Our civilisational values have taught us the importance of living in harmony with nature. Today, let’s come together to protect our environment & take forward Mission LiFE - Lifestyle for Environment.

This Dr. T. Bhavani putting forth few ideas for a sustainable and environment -friendly living. 1. Every one speaks of banning the use of plastic, but we have to make a judicious choice of using plastic only wherever it is essentially needed and not unmindfully switching over to things made of plastic or plastic coated. for eg: we can use our traditional utensils made of copper, bronze and tin which can bring about a remarkable change in our overall health as the microgranules of such elements are needed for our healthy living. Use of iron woks and pans will save energy as they retain heat for a long time after cooking at the same time give us necessary iron through their slow dissolving in to the food material. 2. Use of mud pots, burnt bricks for construction purposes will considerably reduce our dependence on water coolers, ACs and health wise also very much helpful to us. 3. Distribution, manufacture of traditional snacks made by local people will make our life sustainable.

Sir, I have an Idea, that why don't we use robotic hands to seperate them. In this manner people can neglect but we can use Robotic technology in the manner of recycling units. So that it requires some land. Some workers. It is possible according to my knowledge. In medical field Robotic sistem have been implemented. Why don't we use in this simple work. Please think about it Sir. 🇮🇳 Jai Hind.

LIFE-- we are taught , advantage of scale & lower prices ! with 130 crore population, have not seen it anywhere in 75 years ! only challenges ,suffering shortage. black marketing . Though during COVID time , shortages not seen , a good sign & supply chain managed well . Other areas are UPI payments & internet prices , india has done well This has to improve rather transform. Food, shelter, clothing, power , infra, rail ,road, waterways health school. college, skill centres quality, quantity very essential India on ICU because of law & order, judiciary, contract enforcement, ease of living, ease of doing business, ease of justice, cost of governance. corruption & not seen any 1 attempt to get it right . Power concern have been raised , if it is anallysed, it is because of just no ability to enforce contract & theft -in govt to govt biz, imagine situation in pvt biz Cost of governance is 50x of pvt & in bottom 15% on global index. Productivity worse. convenience cost Y ?

Dear Narendra modi ji, I am hear to ask something about recycling units In this Sir. In Provide some land for separating e waste, plastic, bio waste etc. In AP government has given 3 buckets to collect them seperately for every home in our Municipality. But people don't using that. Municipal workers also showing some negligence. That buckets doesn't have handles🙄. Who should be punished in this. In AP we have volunteers for each 50 Houses. We have supervisor system also. But nothing is possible without a collective decision. So that bring some strict rules. Sosecial awareness is also important. So Join hands together for our Nation. 🇮🇳 Jai Hind
