India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

MyGov invites you to share your ideas and suggestions on how to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

1. Reduce
2. Reuse
3. Recycle
4. Renewable
5. Recover
6. Re-design
7. Re-manufacture

Few examples for the above:
Reduce - Electricity, Fuel Usage
Reuse - Old Clothes, Electronics, Building materials, furniture
Recycle - Plastic, newspapers, cartons, boxes
Renewable - Solar, Wind, Hydro, Tidal, Geothermal & Biomass
Recover - Forests, rivers, soil, mountains, wildlife
Redesign - Green buildings
Remanufacture - E-waste for new purposes

Our civilisational values have taught us the importance of living in harmony with nature. Today, let’s come together to protect our environment & take forward Mission LiFE - Lifestyle for Environment.

LIFE- speech-how should u speak or Y r u speak incorrectly , do any of the teachers know & do it ! we only wonder at how good his pronunciations are, god gift. has it even been taught that it is a science and can be learnt or corrected if done at very early age. Tks to internet, i came across it but alas. a, i, u, ṛ, and ḷ are short vowels. All other vowels are long and pronounced for twice as much time as the short vowels. Other sounds are usually called consonants. Consonants with an "h" in them are aspirated, which means that they are pronounced with an extra puff of air. retroflexed sound, tongue should curl back and touch the top of the roof of your mouth. nasal sound when & how & there r words pronounced as an echo of the vowel that it follows ! aha ! & science For which words do u xhale/inhale when speaking How many teachers /parents know it, twik it , then Indian blames brahmans! They get it it right even if not taught -sharp observation ,practice & virasat too

The Green life Capture it... Utilize it.... Solar energy, solar power derived from the sun through the use of solar panels, is just one of the newest initiatives the "Going Green" movement has presented to us, in an effort to build and maintain renewable and sustainable power sources. It is becoming cheaper to make electricity from solar energy and in many situations it is now competitive with energy from coal or oil. Solar cells can be used to generate electricity from sunlight.

The Green life Adore it.... Store it.... There is no higher quality source of water available to us than rainwater. Unlike water captured in dams which requires an extensive treatment process to ensure a quality fit for human consumption, rainwater that is collected on roofs and stored appropriately represents a sustainable source of water ideal for use inside and outside the home. Collecting and using rainwater can be a great way to conserve resources.

Much has been achieved during last plan periods due to hard work of farmers and constant efforts of the department of Horticulture through implementation of various centrally and state sponsored schemes. Arrival of huge quantities of Orange, Ginger, Pine-apple, Large cardamom etc in local markets and markets of Assam during seasons is a testimony of this fact.

LIFE- gandy/nehrus the tyrants Bought Bharat to ruins . atleast postmortem now , what made it great , any hope to revive it ? Hindu Sants/rishis have left a lot in upanishads/yoga/pranayam bhakti but alas, the state banished it . Life is only breath . it should come naturally & individuals tweaked thru gurus to get it correct & auto- force of habit by end of 5th std. Pranayam not taught. U exhale while going down & inhale when getting up , the breath does situps 4 r u . No effort . How many knew this as a child ? take a deep breath , count of 10 when angry -motivational gurus earning crores 4 this . Our dehatis knew it but cud not impart or not accepted as considered taboo & still is ! Om upanishad, chanting Om- aakar, ukaar makar iti correctly . u learn what is life . it is a crime to teach it! How should u breathe when speaking ? how many know it. y is it not taught ? U can solve problems, even rid of ur fears by breathing fm different parts of body & much more! Teach it now

Dear All, Hope you might have observed that some users have started copying and pasting others suggestions and post it as their suggestions without any shame. This user UshaDevi has copied and pasted my suggestion and also some other users suggestions. Without any shame or guilty some users abuse this platform to score points fraudulently. If anyone copies and pastes your suggestions please take a screenshot of their cheap act and expose them. So that others will be alert and report such fraudsters. Still user Ajit Kumar Singh is copying and pasting others suggestions. I think these people do it wantonly. My Gov team should bring an option to report such copy pasters and remove them from My Gov activities. Without shame they copy and paste others suggestions in all discussions. Some users post the same suggestion in all discussions irrelevantly multiple times. Requesting user UshaDevi to delete my suggestion which is copied and pasted. Please don't cheat by copying and pasting.
