Taking the vision of the new National Education Policy (NEP) as envisioned under the dynamic
leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, the Government of India has developed the National Credit Framework (NCrF) to enable the integration of academic and vocational domains to ensure flexibility and mobility between the two. NCrF would be a game changer by opening numerous options for further progression of students and inter-mingling of school and higher education with vocational education and experiential learning, thus mainstreaming skilling and vocational education. NCrF will also enable students who have dropped out of mainstream education to re-enter the education ecosystem.

NCrF will seamlessly integrate the credits earned through school education, higher education, and
vocational and skill education by encompassing the National Higher Education Qualification Framework (NHEQF), National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and National School Education Qualification Framework (NSEQF). It also supports educational acceleration for students with gifted learning abilities and Recognition of Prior Learning for the workforce that has acquired knowledge and skills informally through the traditional family inheritance, work experience or other methods. The inclusive umbrella framework aims to make the options for Multiple Entry-Multiple Exit accessible and applicable across higher education, school education and vocational education, allowing students to choose their own learning trajectories and programmes.

The framework has been jointly developed by a committee constituted by the Government with members from UGC, AICTE, NCVET, NIOS, CBSE, NCERT, Department of School Education and Literacy & Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, DGT, and Ministry of Skill Development under the guidance of Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

The Government is inviting comments and observations by the 30th of November on the document
which is available in the link below for download.

जनता के सुझाव पहले जब नयी शिक्षा नीति बनाई थी तब नहीं विचार किये और न ही चर्चा की। अब भी एक formality की जा रही है। जब मनमर्जी चलानी है और देश की शिक्षा बर्बाद करनी है तो क्यों हमारा समय बर्बाद कर रहे हों।

मेरे पास इतना समय नहीं है जो 85 pages का मकड़झाल पढ़े। टीचर के ऊपर फालतू का बोझ लाद रहे हैं। खानापूर्ति होगी। मज़ाक बन कर रह जाएगी योजना।

8th class should main base study class year instead of 10th class. if 8th class should standard then after 8th class special vocational courses commence. and 2- 4 years entrepreneurship development, science, commerce, arts, medical, math, subject starts, which can easily better future of our youth and children. and children more progressive.

Is vikas the new jumla like gareebi hatao ! will it be defined or keep talking of it & not measure/deliver . how many of ur babus have heard us/uk & all of the developed world talk of vikas. They r coming up with new inventions, discoveries & ever reducing prices , their infra solid for 200 years . India it crumbles the next day ? all of the maliks r wo besharm jisse sharm ko bhi mar daala? liars to the core ! similarly poverty- when all of the 80 crore leeches the family of tuglaqq collegium , mp /mlas enjoying freebies & ayyshing on Hindu $$ with all of roti kapda, makan, ilaj pani bijli, gas, padhai, ghumna/firna all free & still India poor ! here tax payers struggling reduced to zinda lash ! Y the developed world talks of it though they have equal share of homeless & rogues Is the govt aware of frauds & scammers - loot & honest jailed , their property wealth auctioned in broad day light done in connivance with we the maliks. any action to stop it & save the law abiders.

Had read through the Ncrf document. One point which lacks clarity is how this would be adopted in absence of Digital Learning Portfolio of Individuals. There is no Discussion on the subject. It leaves lot of gap and if this is being done by someone ( ie some other project & Organisation ) else then we are leaving lot of gaps in the concept itself. The functional concept must inspire the Tech platform Also since education as subject has state also as the stakeholder , the tech platform should learn from the conceptualization, planning & Implementation Gaps in projects like CCTNS. It has to serve the stakeholder who is a student and the citizens of the country. Would strongly urge the Implementation methodology be looked into and have it published too. It has to be implemented by building Digital Learning Portfolio of Individuals A quick and fast implementation would help the Ed Tech companies to align and productise their offering . Many of them are loosing valuation!
